Wonderful You Trio

Three different cards that are the same! All use Ginger Blossom background paper and Wonderful You stamp set. This is the first time I've used this new set and I love it. I used the stamp-a-ma-jig to line them up because they are huge images.
Colors are River Rock and Ruby Red with Confetti White.

Berry Bliss Set

This is the same card except it is tied with Chocolate Chip wide grosgrain instead of Regal Rose grosgrain. Which do you like better?

XOXO Card

This card uses the new Berry Bliss Background paper, XOXO from Define Your Life and the super cute little mouse from the Happy Heart Day stamp set. FYI...only a crazy person would actually cut out that tail...twice!! I don't know what gets into me sometimes :)

Valentine Pouch

This is a little Valentine pouch for a candy bar or movie tickets or whatever surprise you can fit in it.
Start with a piece of cardstock 7" x 7". Fold in half so it measures 7" x 3 1/2", cut down the center 1 1/2" and score across for the flap. Fold over and tape down with Sticky Strip. Tape the right edge and the bottom with Sticky Strip also. Decorate any way you want with background paper and embellishments.

The Easiest Box Pattern Ever!

I found this pattern on Sonja's Scene blog. She designed it to fit 2 York Peppermint Patties snowflakes, but as you all know, I've sworn off those forever! Making hundreds of something will do that to a person :) I tried several other candies and found the snack size Kit Kat fit perfectly without modifying the pattern.

You can get 4 of these on one piece of cardstock and they have the easiest scoring measurements.

I used Groovy Guava, River Rock and Ruby Red cardstocks and decorated them with Ginger Blossoms paper. The closure decoration is all 3 flowers punched from the new Boho Punch and a rhinestone brad (a must have!) both Ice and Fire circles. I closed these with Basic Gray magnets. Super simple!!

Here is the link to her fabulous pattern. Enjoy! http://sonjascene.blogspot.com/2008/01/another-peppermint-duo.html

Ribbon Tying Video

I've had a lot of people ask me about the bows I've tied on the last two cards I posted. Yes, it's new to me and I am trying to perfect it, but it is like trying to think backwards for me! I found it on Stampin' Gal Val's blog.

Let me know if you can do it!

An Unforgettable Friend

Another card base of Ruby Red and more Ginger Blossoms paper. This is stamped with the Happy Heart Day stamp set, colored with watercolor crayons, tied up with Regal Rose wide grosgrain ribbon and uses lots of Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

Unfrogettable Valentine

I've been playing with the new Ginger Blossoms background paper. It's so pretty! The image is from Unfrogettable. It is colored in using Watercolor Crayons and an Aqua Painter. The card base is Ruby Red. Notice the google eyes and the rhinestones on his crown??

Love this Punch Pals set and to think I almost didn't buy it. Good thing I made thousands of those snowflakes and needed it!

Customer Christmas Cards

I thought you all would like to see the beautiful Christmas Cards I received from some of my very talented friends. I'm so proud of you for actually USING your Stampin' Up! merchandise :) It is so fun to get cards in the mail! We spend so much time on e-mail that we forget sometimes.
I've got several postings today. Be sure to check out the:
-Valentine's Bundle offer
- The dormant list
-And of course the NEW catalog! Let me know if you love it!
I've had a few e-mails regarding the Christmas tree count down. I love, love, love Christmas and have enjoyed watching the count down, even though some of you have expressed the panic I've caused, and will most likely leave it on my blog somewhere. Just ignore it if it bothers you :)
I hope you're all off to a great start in the New Year. I was sleeping soundly in my bed when I was awoken by the fireworks going off at midnight. I could hear people screaming in the streets and banging on pots and pans, even a couple of shotguns were fired off...I hope in the air! The boys made New Year's resolutions...Benjamin is going to eat less McDonald's and exercise a couple of times a week and Nicholas is going to build muscles by playing his Wii!! How funny is that! I was thinking about a resolution to loose weight, but thank God, I already broke it and don't have that burden over my head anymore! George thinks he will finish all his projects this year. Anyone want to place a bet on that one?
Whatever you promise yourself, remember to get your Stampin' Up! products out and use them this year!
Have fun!
Becky

Stampin' Up! Dormant List

What's a dormant list you ask?? This is a list of the stamp sets that are not in the new 2008 Spring and Summer Collection (that is our fancy new name for a catalog!) but ARE still available for order. This list is the stamp set names only even though it says there are pictures
below.
These sets are available until June 30th even thought they are not in the new catalog. By then we will have a new discontinued list and will know where these sets stand.

Valentine's Day Bundle

January 2nd through the 31st you can purchase the new Valentine's Bundle. It includes the Happy Heart Day stamp set, Real Red wide grosgrain ribbon and Medium cellophane bags for $33.50. Then you get the Regal Rose wide grosgrain ribbon FREE!! (It's about a $9.00 savings with the shipping and tax). This stamp set is so cute. It is the one I will be using for my Valentine stamping.
