I'm not sure what rolls through some brides heads....seriously, Apricot Appeal, Pale Plum, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip ????????? It definitely does not translate well on paper! I've got a few more things to try before I decide to take it on.
It's been busy around here! I finished up my big assignment that I can't share until August. My sister Kerry and her son have been here this week for the state track meet. Man, can that kid ever jump hurdles! Looks painful ;o) Baseball season is still in full swing with my Nicholas and end of the year activities and field trips are taking up my stamping time! Plus the yard project, oh my!
So...umm...you're saying you're busy? LOL! I don't know about the colours...they wouldn't be my pick, but I don't think they're totally hideous...
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't know what goes their minds either but you sure pulled it off as nicely as can be, I think:) I'd love to see more things from her wedding decorations... . It's certainly unique:)
ReplyDeleteTry more plum and less kiwi, I've done a card with these colors and by using the darker colors as accents it really was pretty. I do love the design!
ReplyDeleteFunny colours for a wedding all right. Your card turned out beautifully. It is so pretty with all those flowers popping up.
ReplyDeleteIt takes all tastes for the world to go round! WOW! This is some color combination. I would maybe think about less Kiwi, a bit more chocolate, definitely more plum and a hint of Apricot. Just a thought! Good Luck! You always have fabulous ideas, if anyone can make this work, it's YOU!
ReplyDeleteFunky colors they are, but you still pulled it off! Hang in there... this time of year is crazy busy - I know I feel your pain LOL!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting colour combo but you've turned it into a stunner - shows what a talented artist you are!!

I agree, it's a very interesting combination of colors. Great card though!
ReplyDeleteThis time of year is crazy - why did I not know this before??? Perhaps it is because my oldest two are just now in first grade - that means field trips, PTO, baseball and in the yard, preschool graduation, and everything else. Now when am I supposed to catch up on all the blogs????
ReplyDeleteGreat card.
Hmmm...a secret until August??? Artisan Award maybe?? You would deserve it!
ReplyDeleteYikes! that is some huh..different color combos....but I do love the card you have made so far....
ReplyDeleteFunny colours for a wedding all right.
