I'll admit it, I'm in love with brown paper bags. They fall in line with my passion for school supplies and office supplies. *Ü*
I folded them into pouches and sewed the edges. First time EVER sewing....I bought a little machine and found a You Tube video on how to use it. Probably will never be a seamstress, but I'm pretty happy with how these turned out.
I used the new Sketched Birthdays stamp set, Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper, Paper Doilies, Natural Trim Ribbon and lots of little accessories.
These little pouches were for my first level inventive gifts for a job well done. Nice works ladies!
Thanks Sarah Sagert for the inspiration and sharing the idea of making tags for a paper bag pouch on Stampin' Connections, our demonstrator share site.
I love how they look nice and finished!! (but they are just paper bags!!)
ReplyDeleteHow did you fold them? looks like they have many pockets for all the tags? Thanks
Oh my gosh, Becky! You should have heard me squeal at your post today!!!!! I just love little paper bags, and I have to admit that I'm kinda bummed when I open a box of goodies and the brown paper packing isn't there too often. I am serious!!! I LOVE this group of projects. I'm a NUT about school supplies and TAGS!!! Love you, girl, Celia Cawthon
ReplyDeleteAre these bags made from the brown packing paper that we seldom get anymore? Of course who doesn't like a good bubble pop now and then?!
ReplyDeleteThese are so nice, can you say class time?! TFS
Super cute as usual! Thanks for sending me one! I LOVED receiving it! Super super cute!

ReplyDeleteNever mind, I just saw your last line about who's getting these treats, somehow I'd missed that. :)
ReplyDeleteNice work and very pretty. Love them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun, clever and colorful idea...and we all have paper bags around, so why not make something special with them..?? Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBecky, I love them, they are so cute,, Sharon xx
ReplyDeleteYea, Becky, I feel for you. I have a gorgeous Hurskqvana Viking machine that cost a small fortune that only ever gets used on my cards. I bought it years ago to try making curtains and baby bedding for the kiddos. The manufacturer would probably shoot me!
ReplyDeleteFab project...totally never thought about paper bags that way!
