Today marks the end of a long love affair with making teacher gifts for Christmas and end of school year. I've been doing this for 17 years!
With Nicholas being a Sr. this year, he delivered the last Christmas gifts today to teachers. That's it for me unless university professors like gifts. *Ü*
He has 6 female teachers and one male this semester. I was thrilled when he came home with that schedule the first day of school because typically he has 5-6 male teachers and only 1-2 women. Purses are far more fun to make and give than male teacher gifts, although I love those too.
I used one of the purses in my Fashionable Favorites tutorial. I made them red for Christmas and hung the adorable moose on a ball keychain - but it can be removed and then the purse has no Christmas feel to it at all. The piece in the pocket is a tiny little card from Nicholas to each teacher.

DeleteAbsolutely adorable, Becky! And I LOVE the added moose to it; super cute! TFS!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous Becky! You will miss making teacher gifts! You have left us in suspense as to seeing what the male teacher got, although I read the comment above. Love your projects!
ReplyDeleteThis is about the cutest little Christmas 3-D item I have seen this year. Could you inherit my child for teacher ideas? Oh no, I hope you will keep them coming! Time to have another baby Becky!!!! Love ya! MERRY CHRISTmas!

ReplyDeleteAnother fashion pattern that is seen in 2010 is to be intense and lovely with some noteworthy styles. Long, floor length dresses are no more.Dancewear NYC
