Piece of Cake Card and Gift Bag

This card size gift bag is so cute with the tissue paper that comes with it!  You slide the card in and you have the perfect envelope for hand delivering the card....or I guess you could mail it too. *Ü*  The die is so easy to put together and has several tags you could use as well.

Piece of Cake Stamps and Dies
The stamps are currently sold out, but put your name in the notify me box and they will send you an e-mail when they are in.

I paired the stamps with the Bee Bold Alphabet Dies to spell CAKE for the front of the card and then covered them in Glossy Accents (or Journey Glaze) for the shine.
These are one of my favorite purchases!!

I stamped the images in Staz-On ink and colored with Copic Markers.

I die cut the tissue paper piece with white Mulberry Paper to give it a little more substance.  Cardstock Vellum works great too!

Again, I cut the alphabet in Glimmer Paper to spell HAPPY and substituted the cupcake for the A.

It's BAAAACK! The Adorable Truck Dies Return

I'm so excited to let you know my favorite truck dies are back as an ala carte purchase. They were first introduced as the October Large die of the month as part of a Spellbinders kit, but now they are available as a die set with no commitment!  And, I hear new tailgate options might becoming this spring. Yay!!

This card has a lot of products used with it.  The truck is Spellbinders + FSJ of course, hearts and grass are from Honey Bee Stamps and the sentiment is called Remarkable You from Spellbinders + FSJ.  I used Distress Oxide inks in Tumbled Glass and Bundled Sage to do the background ink blending.

So many parts, so many options!

Back for a limited time only. This 25 piece Truckin’ Through the Seasons Die Set, cuts, embosses, debosses, and stencils.

Monster Love and Little Letterboard Cards

A couple of new Valentine cards with Monsters and Letterboards - how fun!  I love both of these sets and have had so much fun playing with them.  I'll have to figure out how to continue to use the monsters after Valentine's Day...maybe rabbit ears? LOL

Little Letterboards are back in stock...again and ON SALE!  You better hurry if you really want some!

Monster Love Bundle is from Concord & 9th.  Little Letterboards  are from The Stamp Market.  I colored them with Copic markers and then covered them in Sparkle Cuts chunky glitter.

You can also find Monster Love stamps and dies on Amazon if you prefer.

Valentine Frappe Money Cards

These were so fun to make!  The boys are going to love these - they love Frappuccinos.  I used the Honey Bee Stamps Frappe Shake Card Dies and the Monster Love Bundle from Concord & 9th to create these cards.

I created a little pocket for the money.

I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in
Ground Espresso, Gathered Twigs and Tumbled Glass and blended them with sponge daubers from FSJ.

Not going to lie, that ink blending is hard and takes a lot of practice but I'll keep at it.  These bloggers and videos make it look seamless and there is definitely a learning curve...they've just learned it already! :)

Once I had the ink in place, I spritzed it with a water bottle and then blotted it with a paper towel.

I cut a dome lid from Clear View Sheets and covered the whipped topping and straw.

The Monster is colored with Copic Markers, the heart is embossed with white embossing powder and layered on a heart from the Heart Felt Die Set from FSJ.  I used the Heart Felt Piercing Dies to create the stitches on the heart die.

Valentine Shaker Tags

I made a couple of Valentine Shaker tags for some special candy gifts using Honey Bee Stamps Globe & Ornament Shaker Tags and the Bear Hugs Bundle from The Stamp Market.  These ornaments dies are definitely not just for Christmas!
Look how cute these turned out!!!

I used  Fun Foam to create the layer in between for the shaker space - slick and easy way to do it!  If you need it higher, just glue two fun foams together.
