Some Kind of Wonderful

Some Kind of Wonderful stamp set from The Stamp Market is one of those all around sets that is good for just about everything.
You can use it as a background, color with your favorite coloring tools, emboss it ...anything you want!

Today I stamped it in gray and embossed the words in white on four different colors.
The recipient of this card loves pastels colors.

Friday Feature - Sweet Strawberries & A Throwback Sale!

It's Friday Feature time for Concord & 9th!
I'm so enjoyed being a guest designer this month. This week we're showcasing the Sweet Strawberries Bundle.

I created a card and a candy box for my feature.  I also used the Gingham Background stamp here.

I love that Concord & 9th always have these drawings that show you exactly how to use each die.  No guesswork, no trying to figure out what something is - love that!

Look how the dies cut out the strawberry leaf for extra dimension!

Did you notice the strawberries are rounded?
Stamp and die cut the strawberry.  Turn it over, stamp side down, on a foam mat or mouse pad and gently rub a stylus in the middle.  It instantly takes shape.  Then, add a foam square to the middle before you stick it to your project.

Concord & 9th is having a Throwback Sale today through Monday the 24th at 9 AM MST

Embroidery Hoop Hello

Have you seen these Embroidery Hoop Dies from Altenew?  They've probably been around a while, but I just discovered them. They are so cute!!
I don't care to use the stitched sentiments with them because I don't even know how to thread a sewing machine, but the hoops are so much fun!

I cut them from cardstock and gold mirror paper then I also cut them from a piece of Fun Foam for dimension and layered them together.  I use the self adhesive one and that was slick, let me tell you.  Whoever invented that knew a thing or two!

This is the one I use.

I paired these two cards with the Painted Flowers Stamp and Die Bundle for the flowers on these and the Fancy Hello Die.

Rooting For You

Today's Friday Feature from Concord & 9th is the new June Release - Rooting for You Bundle.
This is a 6x6 stamp set with 30 images. It coordinates with the Rooting for You dies. You can create letterboards and potted plants to sit on shelves. Mix & match plants and pots for a variety of looks. The sentiments are cheerful & encouraging which apply all year long!

I made a ladder shelf on this first card and filled it with several of the adorable images in the bundle.  The background is the Shiplap Sentiments stamp set.

For this card I made a simple shelf with rainbow colored potted plants and this month's free die set (with a $60 purchase), Little Thought Dies.
This card also used the brand new Herringbone background stamp.
