Picket Fence Studios August Release

Today is new release day for Picket Fence Studios.
There is a little bit of everything for everyone this month.  I have a few things to show you, but be sure to check out their website to see the full release!

This adorable set is second in a series of girls and dogs called Your Friend Dear.  I colored it with Copic Markers and added little strips of cardstock to make a black and white border.

Not my favorite card to make, but sometimes we need them for pets that have crossed over the rainbow bridge.
The background on this one is made with Distress Oxide inks and the Life Changing Blender Brushes.

Stella Puppy

Songbirds is a beautiful set of realistic birds and nests.  This set will make really pretty all occasion cards!

Moving on to Halloween for the next few - I love this haunted house set called A Spooky Day which should be A Spooky Night. *Ü*  I colored it with Copic Markers and the background is Distress Oxide inks blended with Life Changing Blender Brushes.

It's Halloween so we have to have a Frankenstein and this one is big and bold with fun sentiments!  Not gonna lie, he sort of gave me nightmares as he would surprise me on my desk a time or two while I was working on him!
I made the background with Distress Oxide ink and Life Changing Blender Brushes.  I die-cut four squares to make a window and added a window sheet behind it.  The window is popped up on foam tape and Frank is behind it.  I simply stamped him on green cardstock and embossed in black.  No coloring, no shading, no nothing!

So Franken Cute

This one is colored with Copic Markers and I made a candy holder out of him by adding a cardstock box behind him.  The finished box size is 1-3/4" x 4".
Cut your cardstock to 7-1/4" x5-3/4".  Score the length at 1-3/4", 3-1/2", 5-1/4" and 7".  Score for the bottom at 1-3/4".

Be sure to check out the Picket Fence Studios store to see the entire release!

The Purple Gift Card Set

I met up with a high school friend last week that I only get to see once a year and of course I can't show up empty handed!
Her favorite colors are purples and lavenders, so I recreated a few of my favorites that I've made in those colors and pulled together a gift set.

Top left is Reverse Confetti Party Pal Stamp Set and Confetti Cuts and Party & Celebrate Confetti Cuts.
Top right is Honey Bee Stamps Sweet Treats stamp set and dies.  The background is the Diamond Backgrounds stencil.
Bottom left is Spellbinders Sunday Drive Dies and the bear is from Bear Hugs.  The sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps Birthday set.
Bottom right is Concord & 9th Meadow Blossoms Bundle.
All coloring is with with Copic Markers.
I put them in a clear card box and tied it up with a ribbon!

Christmas Cascade Collection by Becca Feeken for Spellbinders

Today I have two brand new dies to share with you from Becca Feeken for Spellbinders. In fact, Spellbinders is launching a bunch of new holiday products today, you might want to take a look!
First up are the Holiday Wood Block Dies and I made shaker tags from this set.
This is a die set that is part of the new Christmas Cascade Collection for Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken.
The set of eight thin metal dies includes four holiday sentiments: HO HO HO, NOEL, JOY JOY and Tis’ the Season, two Poinsettia blossoms and a square frame. Mix them with the other die sets from the collection. It works well with the Christmas Cascade Card Base Etched Dies Set.

I die cut the words and then colored them with Copic Markers The red is R59,29 and 24. The green is YG97, 95 and 93.
The square die is about 3", so I cut a piece of cardstock that was 3-1/2" and cut the square out of the middle making a frame.  I cut a window sheet and another piece of cardstock for the back so I could make a shaker tag.
The hanger on the back is made with two circle punches, 1-3/4" and 1-1/2".
Cardstocks used were Whip Cream, Candy Apple and Green Olive (which apparently is no longer in stock).
The ribbon is Special Day Organza...which apparently is no longer in stock either.  I'm batting a thousand here today!.
Next up is Snowflake Splendor Etched Die set.  It too is part of the Christmas Cascade Collection from Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken. The set of eight thin metal dies includes three intricate snowflakes, three hexagon shaped frames and the words: Merry and Christmas.

These snowflakes are very delicate and so pretty!  Hard to photograph though.
This card uses one of the hexagon shapes and I threaded the ribbon through the openings.  I added a white snowflake and Candy Apple cardstock words.
I colored on the red cardstock with Copic Markers R59,29 and 24 to give it a little shading.  Or as I say to myself when I am stamping...I'm gonna throw a little shade.  Yes, I talk to myself. *Ü*

Cardstocks used are Whip CreamCandy Apple and Oatmeal Cookie
The background on this one is embossed with the Pretty Plaid Embossing Folder - one of my favorites!

Be sure to check out all the new arrivals at Spellbinders that start today!

Pink Letter Board Party!

You probably didn't know I was waiting on it...but I received my new pink letter board last week!  It is so pretty!!!

Felt Creative Home Goods sells all sizes and shapes of rustic letter boards. You've seen me use my little 6 x 6 boards in my tiered tray, I got those there too. I just ordered a new black one with white rustic frame for my kitchen as the frame on my old one is falling apart.  Poor thing has been well loved and repaired so many times.

I made all the medallions and paper bows and of course the flowers.  I think this might be Felicity Jane paper.  The flamingo cupcakes are from the store.  I stuck all the decorations to the letter board with blue painters tape.  It held well and came right off all the paper with no issues.
I know you are going to ask, so here are the details:

I got it from Felt Creative Home Goods.  They sell all sizes and shapes of rustic letter boards. You've seen me use my little 6 x 6 boards in my tiered tray, I got those there too.

This one is 12 x 16 and comes with over 800 letters and characters, all 12 months of the year, the 7 days of the week, some scripty words and an easel stand. It comes in 10 x 10 also and several different colors.
The easel is a wood stand and comes apart to lay flat when not in use.
Those flamingo cupcakes are so cute!
FYI - I used black letters for this project and they did not come with this letter board, they came with my 6 x 6 boards.
Look how boring it is with no decorations. *Ü*  I loved decorating it.  I plan to use this for a few more projects and then hang it permanently in the house.

Itty Bitty Market Totes with Video

When I was with Fun Stampers Journey, this die was a hostess only item and I remember that so many people wanted it and couldn't get it.  I think it may have also been limited edition, like from a mini catalog.
But good news -  it's back!  With FSJ merging with Spellbinders into the retail market, there are several hostess only dies that are now available for sale to everyone!

Also, Spellbinders is having a big BOGO sale on select dies right now.
Six pages worth and many of them are dies I regularly use here!
You might want to check it out!
Market Tote Die Set
It measures approximately 3" x 2" and is only $5.95!!!

The die is just the outline of a basket so it is perfect for card fronts, but I made it into a basket.

I have a video on how to create it into a basket and into a berry basket from when I was with Fun Stampers Journey.

Just Mason Around - The Greetery

More Oopsie Daisies from The Greetery today, this time I paired them with the Just Mason Around jars.
The jars are a three-step stamp using three shades of coordinating color and man, do they ever look real!
I love mason jars and have owned a lot of sets but none quite like these beauties!

I used Altenew Tranquility inks in the first three colors for the jars.  Misty Morning, Cloudy Sky and Nimbus.

Just Mason Around Stamp Set

The eucalyptus used in these cards is from the Simple Things Stamp Set and Dies.

Give them a try, I think these are sets you will enjoy for a very long time!
