Rainbow Turnabout Stamp

My last Brighter Days post for the month and the rainbows go away for a while.
I've thoroughly enjoyed playing with this bundle!

This card is made with the the Rainbow Turnabout stamp set. It makes the cutest backgrounds and has little words and clouds that you can add to the bottom of the rainbows.  I used the Brighter Days Bundle words to finish it off.

Cake Is Important To A Happy Life

Last Friday I was up on the Picket Fence Blog with these Let's Decorate cards.  It is always fun to be a guest blogger for them.
I've made a lot of cards with this set, I just love that it is kind of fancy and can be used for many occasions!

It seems like I've been cooking non stop lately with everyone home and I've made a few cakes the last month. My family loves dessert!!  I like cake but not as much as I love coloring cakes...perhaps you've noticed? LOL

Let's Decorate Dies           Let's Decorate Stamp Set

The backgrounds are ink blended with Distress Oxide Ink and the Life Changing Blender Brushes.
The images are all colored with Copic Markers.

I love this tiny sentiment that says 'believe in cake'.  I believe!!

On a personal note, I'm feeling kind of bummed today.  I might need cake before the day is over.  I was suppose to have the first of two cochlear implants done today.  All elective surgeries have been cancelled.  I'm fine with that part, I'd rather be safe than sorry, but still bummed that I will have to wait until the fall how.  Hopefully!

Farm Fresh Flowers

I have a pretty one for you today.   I love the soft colors on these flowers with a light, delicate background.

Farm Fresh Flowers is one of my favorites from the Honey Bee Stamps April Release.
I paired this one with a couple of circle rings from the Circle Thin Frames and a light Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Ink blended background.

Farm Fresh Flowers Stamps and Honey Cuts (dies)

I colored the flowers with Copic Markers, used the die to cut out the main image then hand cut a couple of extra leaves for the arrangement.

Brighter Days and Everyday Purse Bundle

You might need to put your sunglasses on!
I have a bright and cheery project today made with the Concord & 9th Brighter Days bundle and the Everyday Purse Bundle.

I used the cloud die to cut clouds in the light blue cardstock for the card and the purse. The rainbow is fun to stamp and lines up perfectly.  It is cute in all colors, not just typical rainbow colors.

7+

This makes a fun and bright gift ensemble.  It would be cute with a clear bag of Skittles inside!

Mini Pocket Book

I've been sending happy mail to friends this month to let them know I am thinking of them when we can't be together.  I added photos and little notes to the pages before I sent it, but did not photograph that part. *Ü*

This book is made from my Mini Pocket Book tutorial and uses one piece of 12 x 12 patterned paper to make the book.
It is on the bottom row of the tutorials page and is shown in Christmas paper.

I used the Garden Picks Dies from Altenew for the flowers and leaves.
The foliage on the cover is from Concord & 9th Just Because.

I've made a lot of these little books for various occasions.  It is a great way to give gift cards or cash in each pocket.  I've made them as little albums, stuffed them with lottery tickets, you name it!

Crafty Friends Blog Hop Featuring Trinity Stamps

It's time for another Crafty Friends Blog Hop.  This month we are featuring products from Trinity Stamps.
Be sure to scroll down for the blog hop list where you will find lots of stamping inspiration and for the Trinity Stamps exclusive shopping code for Crafty Friends readers.
Remember, Crafty Friends brand of the month offers 20% off on the 20th of the month!

I'm featuring the stamp set called A Crafters Heart, it is perfect set for our crafty friends!!

I stamped and colored two of the hearts with Copic markers.  I cut some of the darling images out by hand and placed them on the card.
The LOVE is the Trinity Stamps Bold Love die set.  This is a fun one because it cuts out the letter and an outline for each letter.

The Nested Hearts 4 piece die set cuts this heart perfectly. I made a box that is adhered behind the heart to use as a caddy for tools or a small plant.
Measurements for the box are:
Cut the cardstock to 10-1/2" x 4-3/4"
Score on the short side, for the bottom of the box, at 2-1/2"
Score the long side at 2-1/2", 5", 7-1/2" and 10"

On behalf of crafty friends, I would like to thank Trinity Stamps for offering our readers a 20% off buying coupon.  Please support our crafty small businesses!
