Love Is Boxwood Wreath Card

I finally got my order from The Greetery.  It was speedy quick, but still, that was a long 4 days across the country. *Ü*
I could not wait to play with this new release...I may have ordered it all!

I will tell you first thing that all these products are sold out.  The Greetery sells out very fast.  BUT, put your name in the Notify Me box by each product you are interested in and you will get an e-mail as soon as they arrive.

This card has the Let's Have A Word: Love Die adhered to the card base to create texture .
The wreath is the beautiful new Love Is Stamp Set and is stamped on Kraft cardstock.  The Boxwood Heart Base Die is the die for cutting this out.
The hearts are from the Shapely Heart Die.  And finally, another Let's Have A Word: Love Die cut in black cardstock for the front of the wreath. I cut three of them and adhered them together so it would be a little more bold.

Oh So Lovely

I made a couple of other cards while I had those cool Oval Embroidery Hoop Dies out the other day.  I love those things!
This time I paired them with the Oh So Lovely stamps and dies.

I love stamp sets that allow you to make your own arrangements of flowers.  I like to layer colors and sizes and see the dimension.

The embroidery hoop is cut from Kraft cardstock and silver mirror paper for the top piece. I cut a piece of fun foam and layered it underneath for a little height.

Honey Bunnies Love

I have a cute simple and sweet Valentine card today using the Honey Bunnies Stamps and Dies from Honey Bee Stamps.
This was a stamp set that was released earlier in the month with their Love Letters Release. Lots of products for a fairly simple card!
I do love a good white card, but they sure are hard to photograph.

The bunny is from the Honey Bunnies Stamps and Dies and is colored with Copic markers.
The alphabet is from the  Bee Bold Alphabet diesI colored the cardstock with Copic markers in an ombre of pinks first and then cut the letters out.

The hearts are cut from the Stacking Heart Dies and have a layer of hearts over them cut from the Whimsical Hearts Cover PlateThe strip of grass is cut from the Grass Border Die.

Weekender Handbag and Everyday Purse Size Comparison

I've been asked more times that I can count about size comparison on the two bags, so I decided to do a post on it.
There is quite a bit of difference between the Everyday Purse Bundle and the Weekender Handbag Bundle and that was on purpose.  I will explain under each one below.

The Everyday Purse Bundle was released in January 2020.  I designed this one to be A2 card front size as it can also be made into the cutest cards ever if you don't want a dimensional purse. Concord & 9th and I felt this would be a good size for both the cardmaker and the 3D maker.

The size is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 and is about 1" wide.
It easily holds 3 x 3 note cards, gift cards, pack of gum, or small skinny gifts.

The Weekender Handbag Bundle was released December 2020 and is larger than the Everyday Purse Bundle.  I designed this one specifically for gift packing.
It is 5" wide and about 6" tall with handles. The inside measures 4-1/4" x 1-5/8" wide.  This one holds a whole lot more, like a pair of socks, travel size things such as hand sanitizer or lotions, baggies of candies, votive size candles, etc.
This one also has an add on die called Bright Eyes Bundle.  The sunglasses (or regular glasses as they are above) are sized to fit perfectly on this bag.

Both are adorable and so much fun to make and give! Today's samples are made with Felicity Jane patterned paper.

Jaded Blossom Valentine Release

I have three Valentine projects featuring products from Jaded Blossom - and today is their January Release day!

I put all the projects in their cute little Crate Die

First up is the Fancy Heart Die.  I adhered clear cello (I cut apart a cello bag) to the back of the heart cut out one, added a few M&M's and adhered it to the solid heart with 1/8" Score Tape.

I stamped a sentiment from the Gnome Kisses set and used a mini glue dot to adhere it to the front with a bow.

These next two projects are both tags for treats.

The 'hello love' on the front of the crate is from the new Love You Lots stamp set - the font in this set is so pretty!
Cupid Gnome is from Gnome Kisses.

I used the Gnome Kisses stamp set and the Cute Little Gnomie stamp set on both tag projects.

I used the Bread Tag Die as the base, stamped the images and colored them with Copic markers.  I added a finishing touch of ribbon and an XOXO sentiment.  You know, a tag on a tag! *Ü*

This little guy on the crate is from Gnome Kisses.  Look how cute his banner is!

I used the Mason Jar Die as a base for this set of 4 tags.  Again, I stamped the images and colored them with Copic markers.  I colored the lid with Copics as well and then tied twine around the top.

Be sure to head over to the Jaded Blossom store and see all the cute Valentin's in this release!

I Chews You

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed I posted a desk full of gumball machines.
I made this one into a card, but the rest will be tags for upcoming projects.
This is such a fun set to play with and perfect for boy and girl Valentines!

The gumballs have a window sheet over them so it looks like glass.  The 5 cent lifts up to reveal a gumball.
The background is the new  Scattered Hearts Turnabout Stamp

Sweet Treats Embroidery Hoop Cards

I use the heck out of  this Sweet Treats Stamps and Dies
I love these chocolates and the mix of fonts in the sentiments.
I broke them out again this week to make a couple of cards combined with the Altenew Embroidery Hoops Dies.

I cut one inch strips of cardstock and adhered them to lightweight cardstock. Then ran them through the die cutter.  The oval and circle are slightly beveled on the edge as they meet the hoop, so it was easier to cut them like that rather than hand trim around the shapes.

The chocolates are colored with Copic markers, the sentiment is embossed in white embossing powder.

The background is embossed with the  Big Dot Embossing Folder.

Weekender Handbag Meets Garden Picks Flowers

I sent off a little happy mail this week to a friend in sunny southern California!
I rarely reach for yellow, it's just not one of my go-to colors, but it is her favorite color, and now...why am I not using yellow more often??  Look how bright and cheery this is!!

The stripe on the bag is from Concord & 9th's Pinstripe Background Stamp.
I put the darker yellow pieces on the front of the bag and then stamped it all at once so I didn't have to match anything up later.  It took a little bit of pressure by the seam, but stamped beautifully.

These are currently sold out but more are on the way.  Put your e-mail address in the 'notify me' section and you will get an e-mail as soon as they are in stock.  Should be any day!

I forget how beautiful these flowers are until I use them again - man, I love them!  They look complicated, but the easy to use diagram makes assembling so easy!
