Idaho Scrapbook Show is THIS Weekend - Get Your Ticket!!

Hey local friends - the Idaho Scrapbook Show is this weekend.  Friday and Saturday at  Expo Idaho.  Do you have your ticket??
Anyone arriving before 11am (both days) will get entered into the grand prize drawing!
Classes and VIP tickets are available at the door.

The Idaho Scrapbook Show is a place for people to shop for the latest paper crafting products from well-known vendors, take classes provided by those vendors and spend time paper crafting/scrapbooking with family and friends.

Let's get out there and support them - it's fun to have things like this in Boise, we don't have enough!!

Here is a little Monster Love using the bundle from Concord & 9th.  I love putting Sparkly Cuts, chunky glitter, on them to make them look a little furry.

So many options for these little guys!

Farm Fresh Tulips For Spring!

Who is ready for spring??  We've had a really, really mild winter here in Boise (I better knock on wood) and I can see spring on the horizon...I'm ready for some pretty flowers!

This is another card I made with the Mandy's Flowers stamp set and dies from Simon Says Stamp.  They are great card size and perfect for a little Copic coloring without having to be an expert.

The black and white script and lined patterned paper is from Gina K 6 x 6 pack called Petite Patterns.

Piece of Cake Cards

Today's cards are from the Piece of Cake stamp set and Piece of Cake Honey Cuts Dies from Honey Bee Stamps.
I've been on a roll lately with donuts, cupcakes, cake...I should open a paper bakery!

This one was stamped on separate paper, colored in with Copic Markers and die cut before placed on foam squares.  I did a little ink blending (I cannot master that technique - I admire the blenders out there!) with Bubblegum ink on the background and then stamped the heart all over.
Isn't the double layer 'love die' cut cute??

There is a little Journey Glaze on the cherry.

See that shimmer?  It is from the Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen.  Or, available from Amazon here. Ooooooh boy, that thing is sparkly!!

This is a cute little stamp set and die set.  Lots of options for friendship, birthday, wedding, any occasion really...and who doesn't like cake??

This card features the slice of cake and the pedestal plate...which promptly smeared with I colored it in.  Note to self...Copics need StazOn ink, don't mess around!
Thank goodness this blush pom pom trim was in the Target dollar spot - it came in handy!

Do you like the white on white card base look?  I love it but I feel like I'm not really finishing the cards.  I'm so used to all the patterned paper, embossing folders and background stamps.  I kind of feel like I'm cheating but I really love the white look.

Forced New Bedding and Bedroom Redo

I'm going to start with this really pretty picture because this is where the story will end as well.  You all know I have this cute golden retriever named Daphne, right?  Nothing like a year old puppy to give a good story!

Here she is with her Nerf rings that she absolutely loves and that got her in a bunch of trouble.

These pictures are after the fact, but she decided to go into our bedroom and bury those rings in the bedding.  Somewhere along the way she got a little out of control.  I had just made the bed, put all the pillows back on and left not even 7 minutes before this.  I knew she was laying in there but I had no ideas THIS had happened  - and so fast... one of the many blessings in not being able to hear well. *Ü*

I returned to the bonus room as was at the computer when she came down the hall with some fluff in her mouth.  Those of you who follow me on Instagram and or Facebook, watched this play out, but for those of you who don't, here is the video.

So...after much thinking and looking, I've selected new bedding.  I chose the one in the top photo which is gorgeous.  So now I have to work on redecorating our bedroom.  The walls in the photos are much more yellow that in real life, but I'm thinking a white headboard and white night stands.  I want to try to find something eclectic and old and paint them myself.  Unless of course, Joanna Gaines would like to show up at my house, then she can do whatever she wants!  Wouldn't that be FUN!!

Blush Piedmont Comforter Set

I have lots of blush in my house, it is my very favorite color.  In fact, it was the color of my wedding and wedding dress 25 years ago.  I've always hesitated to decorate with it because our boys are color blind and see it as a gray blue and really don't like it.  Fast forward to now when they are gone and the color has made a comeback!
Don't judge - we all change in a quarter century! LOL

I've added a little blush to our living room as well.  Here is the link to the pillows just so you can see. Unfortunately they are sold out, but they have lots of others and you can search by color. Or here to something very close from Amazon.

The larger pillow in the white chair is here.  The throw on the back of the brown recliner is here.

So...if you need new bedding, let me know and I can send my dog over to destroy your current bedding in 7 minutes flat!

Little Letterboards are BACK IN STOCK!!!

I wasn't going to do another donut post so soon.... BUT I have to let you know the Little Letterboards are BACK IN STOCK!!!

I'm so excited because after I posted these Little Letterboard Christmas tags, so many of you tried to get them and they sold out quick.

Don't wait, I'm not sure how many she has and I'm pretty sure you need them - I have lots to show you still!

I made these in pinks and reds with some funny donut sayings for Valentines treats.  I used the Concord & 9th Barnwood Background to create the wood grain on the frame. The donuts are from the Donut Bundle and I used Honey Bee Stamps sprinkles for the toppings and to scatter about. Products listed below.

I use the tweezers and Multi Medium Matte glue.  That way if it gets on the edges, it is matte and not shiny.
These would make great little magnets too if you didn't have a need for tags.

Pretty cute little Valentine tags, don't you think?

I will have to repackage them before I give them.  These may or may not have lasted much longer than the photo. *Ü*
