Final Snowflake Project Forever and Ever!!!!!
This is a little gift for a special third grade girl who keeps writing love notes to Nicholas anonymously. Over the course of about a month, he gave several girls a handwriting test to see if he could figure out who it was. Finally this one fessed up! The agreed they 'liked' each other than ran off to play with their own groups of friends :) Today was their 'Rockin' Christmas' program and they got to hold hands during one of the dance moves...boy does she ever like my Nicholas!!
I'm done making stuff for Christmas! All the gift cards are covered, teachers gifts, friends, parties...I'm DONE! I am sick of snowflakes and I am sick of Dashing paper! Come on Valentines :)
We've got a lot of company coming for Christmas starting Sunday so you probably won't hear from me. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope you enjoy the holiday with your families as we are for the first time in many years. God Bless You!

Gift Card Holders
These gift card holders are a different size that I posted earlier. These are so cute and so easy to make! Cardstock is 4 1/4" x 7 3/4". Score at 1 1/2" and 4 3/4". They look like little wallets. I close them with Basic Gray magnets, of course! You know, I am really getting sick of red and green and this Dashing Designer Series paper!

Ghiradelli Chocolate Holders
These are for Nicholas' class party. He wanted something sparkley...too bad you can't see the glitter! These can also be made to hold tea bags. The cover is 3 1/2" x 6 1/2", score vertically at 3" and 3 1/2". Fold on scored lines to form the cover shape. Insert is background paper cut to 5 1/2" x 7"; fold each 5 1/2" edge over about 2"- they will overlap about 1/2". Tape the overlap with adhesive. Fold paper in half, seam side out, so the two shortest edges meet. Use the 1 1/4" circle punch to punch out half a circle from the center of each page end. Center the paper lengthwise on the inside of the cardstock book and punch two 1/16" holes through both layers (punch holes about 1" apart). Thread metallic cord through holes and tie in a knot. Attach organdy ribbon to the outside cover and tie closed. Let me know if you need further directions.
Let it Snow
Working on a few Christmas cards. These are multiples of the one I demonstrated at my show last week using the Big on Christmas set.
Stampin' Up! Discontinued List
I'm sure by now you have all found the discontinued list on the Stampin' Up! website, but just in case you haven't seen it yet, here it is. Once again, lots of favorites being discontinued like Sassy Stems and my 2 big alphabets :(
You can order these anytime through January 1st, 2008. This list is stamp sets only and they will manufacture as many as are sold, it is NOT first come first served.
December 10th, the discontinued wheels and accessories list comes out and those ARE while quantities last.

Our First Snowfall
Can you hear the screaming of happy children???? I woke up last week to discover it was snowing. I ran upstairs and woke up both boys, it was about 6:30 am, and told them to follow me immediately! They were both sound asleep and not to happy with me as I opened the sliding door and pushed them outside...until they realized it was snowing! It was their first time seeing a snowfall and you should have heard the screaming of delight! Nicholas had a snowman built by 6:45 and it was all of 8" high :) Practically took all the snow we had that day! It was wonderful to see them enjoy the snow!!!
It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
I thought I would show you a few pictures of what has been going on around here. We had a fantastic time enjoying Thanksgiving with both our families; first time in many, many years. The kids were so excited to get back home to start the Christmas decorating. Nicholas helped Dad put the lights up on the house. Benjamin used the Lights and Sounds of Christmas to coordinate the playing of the music to the blinking of the lights on the house. Man is that music ever loud; our poor neighbors ...so far they like it but I have been making the boys turn the music down.
I can't line these pictures up correctly but you'll get it just fine!

Card and Paper Bow
I love this flip top card closed with a Basic Gray magnetic closure. You can use this for a money card or a gift card also. I also tried my hand at making a bow. It was SO EASY!! The directions are on splitcoaststampers tutorials. This would make such a cute package with a matching box.
Christmas Card Class
These are the cards for the Christmas card class tomorrow night. I was fortunate enough to have 6 people sign up for the class at the craft show I did last week. I also got a booking for December 1st. I was so excited to book a show that I forgot it was on the same day the boys have their Christmas piano recital...I thought that date sounded familiar :)

Hershey Nugget Boxes
Two of the styles of Hershey nugget boxes I am offering. Each holds 3 candies covered in Dashing Designer Series Papers. Too bad the glitter doesn't show up in the photo.
Holiday Gift Tags
Working on a few Holiday gift tags for the craft show this Tuesday and Wednesday at H.P. On the left is the Purely Pomegranate paper with the new Holiday Harmony Designer Paper. The right picture is using the Dashing Designer Paper. How much would you pay for a tag? Any ideas on pricing?? The largest ones are about 2"x 3" and the smaller ones are about 2".

Snowman 3 x 3's
This is the snowman from the Big on Christmas set. The background is one of the swirly things in Priceless set. I made 4 purses each holding 4 identical cards with envelopes.
QBee's Box
This is the little box from QBee's pattern on splitcoast that everyone is doing. They are right, it is super easy and a lot of fun...but it is pretty fragile for a box. The sides need better support, but then I guess it wouldn't be so easy. Cute anyway!
And The Winner Is...
Benjamin ran for 6th grade class Vice President last week and WON!!!! He ran against 5 other kids and the new kid on the block won by a landslide!! He had to get 40 signatures on his petition, 3 teacher recommendation letters and write a speech to give in front of the whole school. I am so proud of him :)
Notebooks and More Notebooks
These are 4" x 6" Mead notebooks I bought during Back To School sales for 10 cents each. Since I have 25, I thought I better get busy on a few. My favorite is the pocket one with the Stamp of Authinticity set. I've got a few more to do, so check back next week for more.

Gift Bags
These little cuties are 4 1/4" x 3 1/2"gift bags . They are perfect for a few treats, a gift card or something small. Best of all you can put a gift card in it, fold it flat and mail in a regular card size envelope. Start with a #2 brown paper bag, cut it to 3 1/2" inches and cover it with hand stamped love. The handles are 3/4" x 6".
