Graduation Paper Flower Corsage

I had the opportunity to make a wrist corsage for a graduating friend.  Graduations looked so different this year, didn't they?!
One of the awesome things that has come from the social distancing issue is all the innovative ways we've come up with to continue to celebrate.  The drive by parades, meeting up in parking lots, virtual bridal showers and baby showers and connecting with friends.  We've gotten pretty creative!

When I made all the wooden scissors, I had one bouquet that I particularly loved, so I recreated it and made it a wrist corsage.  She loved it!

Below are the dies I used to make the paper flowers.

Sweet Lemonade Card

Here's a bright summer day card for you.  It's been beautiful here in Boise and you can't get more summery than lemonade.  For today's card I've used the Sweet Lemonade stamp set and dies from Pinkfresh Studios.

I stamped out the bottles and fruit and die cut everything.  The background for my card is made with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink and the Beach Towel Stripes Stencil by Altenew.

Kind of makes you want some fresh lemonade, doesn't it?  It makes me miss my lemon tree a LOT!

Coffee Understands

Today I am posting to the Picket Fence Studios blog with these two coffee cards, so I thought I would share them here too.

I used the stamp set Coffee Understands and the Coffee word die.  I colored the girl with Copic markers and placed her on a hand cut tag.  I embossed the sentiment in white and then lightly sponged over it with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Ink.

Both cards backgrounds are stenciled with Distress Oxide ink in Speckled Egg with the Flowers Stencil and the Life Changing Blender Brushes.

This card has the sentiments in the stamp set embossed in white for the background.

Reverse Confetti Anything Goes Challenge

Today is my last post for this month as a Fetti Friend for Reverse Confetti .  It's been fun to participate in their release and challenges as I love their product SO much!

This may come as no surprise, but today I am using the Corgi Cuties stamp set AGAIN!

This time I combined the Corgi with the stand alone die called Balloons Confetti Cuts.  He's the king and it's his birthday so he needs balloons.
These dies cut the balloons in 2 sizes, have a highlight piece that can pop out and the balloon strings cut into your cardstock leaving dashed lines.  I traced over the lines with a thin black marker.

The Corgi is colored with Copic Markers.
White parts: N3, N1, N0
Inside ears: R32, R30
Corgi: E44, E43, E42, E30
Nose: N7, N5

Crafty Friends Blog Hop Featuring Concord & 9th

Welcome to the June Blog Hop for the Crafty Friends!
Who are the Crafty Friends?  We're a group of talented stampers who all share a similar crafty beginning.
Each month we focus on a brand or company that we love and this month we are proud to feature Concord & 9th for the second time!

Of course if we are featuring Concord & 9th, I am going to use my own product.  The Everyday Purse Bundle is a set that I collaborated on with Concord & 9th and it was released at Creativation in January.

For today's project, I made the purse into a tea bag holder.  Get it?  A TEA BAG?  *Ü*

Cardstock is 3-1/2" x 2-1/2".  Score every 1/4", you should have 9 score lines.  You will need to trim each long side a little to fit in the gusset of the purse.

I added Score Tape to the back of each tea bag and adhered them to the 'hinges'.
I also want to share my new favorite glue with you from Bearly Art.  I love this glue!!!

For the card I used the new Simply Said bundle.  I really, really like the fonts used in these sentiments!
The flowers are from the new Wildflower Fields Stamp Set.

I used a couple of the single flowers for the front of the purse.  The stripe is from the background stamp called Brushed Stripes.

Be sure to follow along the Crafty Friends Blog Hop and get inspired with other Concord & 9th projects, then come back and pick up your coupon code for 20% off your order the 20th and 21st only.
