Christmas In July Celebration

I am participating in the Christmas in July Celebration on the Spellbinders Blog with a brand new stitching die called Stitched Joy.

This is a pretty one and remember I previously showed you my faux stitching with markers if you are not a stitcher.

Look at this pretty embossed background!  

This is one of the new embossing folders that give a 3D effect when used with the Universal Plate System. 

What's that?  It offers greater compatibility with longer platform and plates for slimline dies and embossing folders. It is compatible with Steel Rule Dies and 2D & 3D Embossing Folders (Spellbinders, Sizzix, Stampin' Up! and other brands)

These are SOOOO beautiful!  This one is called Tile Mosaic and I have three of the new folders in the photo below.  It is kind of hard to appreciate the beauty in a photo, but I promise you these are a real wow.

Congratulations On Your Retirement

When I retire I won't be playing with succulents, that is for sure.  I leave that to my sister in Arizona.  Her husband is the succulent whisperer and I'm not even going to tell you how many plants they have!

I pretty much love any set that has foliage and or flowers that I can arrange myself.  This one was fun because succulents aren't really something I have played with before. The details in the pots and stands and all the little pieces is so pretty!

Holiday Blooms

When you can't decide - use them all!

I sort of did use all the pieces in the new Holiday Blooms die set because they are all so pretty together.

The background is one of the new 3D embossing folders made to use with the new Universal Plate System.  If you use them together, you get a brilliant 3D look, if you don't then it is normal embossing folder look.

Idaho Custom Creations August Tiered Tray Kit & New Signs

It is time to reveal the August Tiered Tray kit and this month is S'mores theme!  

My tray is from Felt Creative Home Goods and can be purchased HERE. 

 I have one in brown and white.

As a reminder, the kit comes unfinished and with everything you need to complete it, including paint.  It is a monthly subscription through Idaho Custom Creations.  Michelle owns the company, I just paint for her and enjoy all her products!

She offers the subscription kit as well as regular products for sale in her shop, and she takes custom orders. 

I often use my own paint and this month is no exception.  The kit will have two browns and white, but I used my own.

I finish the backs and the stands with Folk Art Antiquing Wax and this month I also used it on the pieces.

Add To Cart Shopping Run Card

I do love a good TJ Maxx run and thought of that immediately with the new Shopping Run Dies. 

I have a red shopping cart in my home that holds lots of pillows.  I change it out with seasonal pillows and I've had a few shopping runs that were this full.
