Happy Halloween!

Master Nicholas was a very busy boy yesterday carving all his pumpkins!

He said this pumpkin is eating the one that didn't turn out too well. Ü
Boys! Do little girls do gross stuff like this??

What a goof!
Aren't these cute?? Marie-Lyne Vervoite sent over this photo of her Halloween creations made from the Candy Gifts pattern in the 12 Days of Christmas 2010 edition tutorial. I just love it when stampers change the Christmas ideas into other holidays!!
Here they are done in Christmas papers.
This pattern is in the new 12 Days of Christmas 2010 edition available HERE.

On A Christmas Pedestal

How come sometimes you can make 5 cards in an hour and other times it takes 5 hours to make one card? One of those days....

I used On A Pedestal stamp set and turned the birthday presents into Christmas presents! It's so much cuter in person with all the bling and satin ribbon. The little chocolate is made from the Two Tags die-cut.

Halloween Giant Nugget Boxes

Last Christmas I came up with this box idea to put 3x3 note cards and Hershey Nuggets together in a slider box. I made several for a craft show, then moved right on to the next thing.

Funny how people look back through my blog and find things and make them all fresh and new again. Like Diana Ball from Stamping Moon, the Queen of Halloween as I have titled her. I have given you the link to her entire blog, not just the posting for her Giant Nugget Box, so you can see page after page after page of her delightful Halloween creations...then you too will see that she IS the Queen of Halloween!

You can find the free step by step pattern & tutorial to make one for yourself HERE.

Inside the cover decoration which is visible when flipped over.

Test Tube Gift Card Holders

I can't believe that I'm getting a head start on a couple of Christmas gift card holders and it isn't even Halloween! I bought these test tube kits from Gretchen Barron a while back and have had such a good time playing with them. She has the cutest little cork toppers on her test tubes!

I used the big Snowflake die-cut and the Santa from Jolly Old St. Nick for this Christmas one and I found some of those old fashioned candies for the tubes at Cost Plus World Market.

For the fall ones, I used the Autumn Harvest stamp set and candy corn in the tubes. These were so quick and easy to make, I just loved doing them...but mostly I love having some done and on hand to give!!
If you would like to make some for yourself, hop on over to Gretchen's blog HERE.

They're Looking At You!

I did a style of 'eyes' like these last Halloween and I loved them so much I decided to change it up a bit and do it again! When else can you put big eyes on a card for no reason, right??

Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Basic Black and Wicked Fun Designer Series Paper

Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes

Accessories: 1/2" Circle Punch, Small and Large Oval Punches, Black Satin Ribbon

Below I have some pictures to share with from one of my fabulous downline, Allyson. I absolutely love how she incorporates Stampin' Up! in her home decor!

This is a Stampin' Up! card display available to demonstrators on supply order.
She hung photo frames of her kids on ribbons on her draperies.

I love this one... she has frames of designer series paper behind the plates and she said she changes the paper and the pictures on the plates often. Cool huh??!!

This cute idea came form Kimberly Van Diepen. These are 1/2 of a 6"x6" square rolled into a cone. Add ribbon a tag, tulle and candy.
Yep, the picture is a little blurry-not you!
I love the way these hang. so cute on the back of a chair, a peg or wherever you need a little decoration!

We've been doing a little celebrating around here! It was my birthday last week. :) I received lots of birthday cards, wishes and gifts from friends...like this one. It was a fun week!!
My boys and husband always give me the best birthdays. I am truly blessed - I love you guys!
Master Nicholas and his friends decided to make a zip line in the backyard. It was going great for the first 6 inches...then DROP!! Dad says they've got it figured out for the next time...I just don't know if my heart can handle it! I'm sure this is not what the fort was built for...the poor tree on the other end!!
