Rose Frosting Paper Cupcakes

Don't you wish all cupcakes were calorie free?  These are...well unless you eat the candy hidden inside.

These cupcakes are made with the Spellbinders Cupcake Liner Die and Concord & 9th Pinata Party Dies.  The flower is not a die, it is my own pattern.

Guess what?  I'm thinking about doing a free paper flower class on Facebook Live, would you be interested? Not from dies, from actual patterns making your own flowers.  It would be an interactive class, you would get the patterns first, have some prep work to do and then we would make them all together.

These have an actual cupcake liner inside and are filled with candy.  These are so fun and unexpected to give for birthdays or to leave on someones desk.  You could even get fancy and do THIS.  Those are a different flower, but still fun.
Pretty cute little gifty, aren't they?

Today is my husband's birthday.  He certainly does not want a paper cupcake!  More like a German Chocolate Cake. *Ü*
He's been home since mid July recovering from a 5 level back fusion.  He's doing well!
Happy Birthday George!

Pack It Up Cards

Remember the adorable backpacks I showed you?  I couldn't wait until I made the cards because they are so fun... but now the cards are done and ready for back to school!

This is the Small Die of the Month called Pack it Up by Spellbinders.

I used Basic Gray tiny magnets for the closure. I've had these so long, I'm surprised the sticky still stuck!  I put them under the patterned paper so you can't see them.

Look at that zipper detail - my favorite part of these dies!

I love the glasses too - I added window sheet to make it look like they have lenses and jewels so they are fancy!

The Small and Large Die of the Month are membership clubs, however, you can purchase and cancel or purchase and suspend until there is another one you want.
The large die of the month is the most darling clipboard card and accessories you've ever seen but is currently sold out.  Hoping it makes a comeback!

I used several different patterned papers from the Good Life Prints pack for these cards.

Spellbinders is currently having their summer clearance sale if you want to check it out.

Wonderful Wreath Stencil Hello

I really love this new Wonderful Wreath stencil by Altenew.  I'm not really into stenciling, but I'm learning... it is kind of intimidating to me.  This one is pretty user friendly though and you don't have to line it up for a repeat pattern.

I used all Altenew inks for this project. I stenciled the wreath first in Frayed Leaf. I then turned it over so the leaves were going the opposite way and sponged on Forest Glades.  Then I removed the stencil and picked up a watercolor brush and hand painted more Forest Glades and a little bit of Evergreen on some leaves.  The stencil is so pretty, it doesn't need much.

I used the absolutely gorgeous Altenew Garden Picks dies for the flowers.  I love creating the layers and watching them come alive!  Altenew has a how to guide so you know what dies to use for each flower.  I never let then thing out of my site!

I layered the Fancy Hello on vellum cardstock for an added dimension.

Have a Cool Birthday Party

I don't get to do very many kid cards anymore so this was super fun!  She's a bright color, rainbow loving little girl.

I used all Reverse Confetti products for this card with exception of the Distress Oxide inks for the background.

Pack it Up Small Die of the Month

With my crazy love for school supplies, I knew I had to have this backpack die called Pack it Up by Spellbinders.
I haven't even made them into cards - they are so cute I have to show you now!!

I used several different patterned papers from the Good Life Prints pack for these three.

The Small and Large Die of the Month are membership clubs, however, you can purchase and cancel or purchase and suspend until there is another one you want.
The large die of the month is the most darling clipboard card and accessories you've ever seen.  I will be showing that to you later.

I added tiny magnets under the patterned paper so they would open and close easily.
The little dies for added pieces inside the backpack or for the card are so stinking cute!  There is an apple, a notebook, glasses and a crayon/pencil.

My favorite part is the zipper detail - look how adorable that is!!!
I may show these again when I get the cards made, or I may turn them into index rings!
