Idaho Custom Creations January Tier Tray Kit

Christmas has been put away and although I'm not quite ready to decorate for Valentine's Day, I am getting some things ready.
The January tiered tray kit from Idaho Custom Creations is Valentine's Day theme and has darling pieces that I can't wait to decorate with.

My tray is from Felt Creative Home Goods and can be purchased HERE
I have it in brown and this white one.
Yes, I set it all up for a photo and take it down...I know, I know...😜

I used the following colors:
Americana Deco Art Santa Red, Cotton Candy, Coral Blush.  Shading on the white is Slate Gray and the pink is Coral Blush mixed with a little Santa Red.

Here are the items that come in the kit.  They are all unfinished but come with paint for you to DIY.  I have used paint colors that suit my home, rather than the kit paints. That's just me, the paint colors she provides are always beautiful.
The heart with the flat bottom comes with a stand, there is an easel in there for whichever project you choose and another stand as well.  You get the twine for the banner (may be different than shown, but it is solid pink) and a ribbon to tie together the lock and key.

Close up of a couple pieces. I love that calendar piece!

There are two new signs for the Round Interchangeable Sign.

If you don't have the sign, you can get the starter kit HERE.
Every month she releases at least two new designs.

Remember the Christmas peppermint candies?  I gave them a Valentine's make over.
These are one of my favorite products.
They come in 5 layered pieces to create three at 2" and two at 2.4".  I wrapped them in cello and tied them with twine.

Double sided Heart Envelopes for your gumball canister or any clear jar.
Double sided means you need fewer - yay!!
You get 8 single sided, glue them together you have 4 double sided.  There are 4 of them in this jar.

Because I know I will get questions...the pink trees were at Target this year.  I cut the base off and glued them to these I had.  They were legs on a riser I've had for years but I think they were probably candle holders originally.
The gum ball canister was in the Target dollar spot.  It was bright red and I stripped the paint and spray painted it light pink and then antiqued it.

Gnome Brewed Books

Have you seen this new Book Die?  It is so cute!
The finished book is about 3-1/2" x 4-3/4,  perfect for a card front.

Can you imagine all the possibilities for the book cover.  Virtually any stamps and sentiment will work.
I've used Gnome Brewed Stamp Set here and colored the images with Copic markers.

Here it is in my hand so you can see the size.

The book die comes with three flowers, the centers and leaf as well as the letters to spell out GRATEFUL.

Here is another one I made using up my last sprig filled coffee cup.  I thought the black book would be a striking contrast, but as it turns out it looks more like a bible. 😂

Open House Valentines & Love You More

I know it is just a few days before Christmas, but it's almost time to start thinking about Valentines, the biggest card sending holiday in the US.

This is a cute new set from Spellbinders called Open House Valentines that coordinates with the house die sets, Open House Door Base and Always Welcome Door Base.

I've use the Always Welcome Door Base here.  The die set has the hearts and arrows for the door window, the heart shaped banners, the envelope and the rug.  A perfect little seasonal set for the door.

\

Also new in this collection is the sentiment die set called Love You More.  It has the scripty sentiments and the layering piece for each of the three words.

I've used the Plaid Company Embossing Folder for the background.  I cut the top portion in a v shape and adhered it with foam squares to resemble an envelope.  The card base is in Waterfall and words are in three shades of blue, Teal Topaz, Lagoon and Spruce.

Papertrey Ink December Release Day 4

Welcome back the the final day of December new release products.
Todays feature is a new floral set and a vase set.

The new products will be live, December 23rd at 7 pm EST.

Papertrey Ink has a series of vase dies and today is number 6. I really like this bucket style vase.  It has a stamp that is textured to stamp over the vase in a darker color and the handle is a separate stamp.
I've filled it with flowers from Towering Stems Stamps & Dies shown below.

These pretty little flowers have a two piece wrap that is pretty cool! I love that it allows you to pop the flowers up or not.

Thanks for joining me this past due days for the December Release!

Papertrey Ink December Release Day 3

Todays cards and projects are centered around the new Mailbox Die set and With Love Stamps & Dies. Near the bottom is the new Jar accessories Stamps & Dies.
Lots of photos today because I am also doing a Featured Post for Papertrey Ink.

The new products will be live, December 23rd at 7 pm EST.

First up is the open style mailbox.  This box style easily fits a cello bag of candy or a small gift.

For the card, I used just one die in the set and repeated it in several colors.

Here is the other side of the mailbox.  So cute with the little bundles of letters!

There are two styles of mailboxes and layers in this die set.

This one is the closed style mailbox.  The candy or gift must be opened to access it.

I really like this card!
I like this whole set actually with all the little letters and notes and hearts and stamps.
You can mix and match all the images to create bundles of mail or decorated envelopes.

Other side of the closed style mailbox.

The second stamp and die feature for today is called Jar Accessories and is an add on set for the Mason Jar dies.
They're called Spook-tacular Mason Jars (they must have released at halloween) and you all know how much I love a good Mason Jar stamp & die!

This is the largest in the set of three jar dies.  Put the fold of the card below the cut line of the die as to not cut the top and then you have a file over shaped card.

This set has large words, hydrangeas and other jar accessories.  My favorite thing is the 'pin' that holds the sentiment!

This card used the medium and small jars.
