I'm Bored!

I'm so bored of these old toys!  I can't wait for tomorrow at NOON so I can place my order from the new Annual Catalog!  I've seen it and it's beautiful folks, you're going to be in {love} !!!

End of Year Teacher Gifts Part 2

Seven more gifts...middle school and high school have a lot of teachers!

 These were fun!  I made the inside box first.  Cut cardstock 4-1/2" x 3-1/2" and score all four sides at 1".  The outside is 3-1/8" x 11" (3" would work just fine, I just wanted it a little wider).  Score at 4-3/4" and 6-1/4". 

 Assemble the box and set it inside the wrap.  Adhere with Sticky Strip.  Use the corner rounder on the top edges and use the Word Window punch for the handle.

All ready to go!  Today is the last day of school. *Ü*

End of the Year Teacher Gifts

 This is one of the purses from the Tres Chic Handbags tutorial available on the right hand side bar or the tutorials page of this blog.  One of my all time favorite patterns I've created.  The card beside it is 3x3 in size, so you can see that the purse is about gift card size.

I put each side of the purse through an embossing folder for texture.  This one is Houndstooth, the other is Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  Stamp sets are Every Little Bit and Itty Bitty Banners cut with the Bitty Banner Framelits coming soon in the new Annual Catalog in June.

Not So Ordinary Brown Paper Bag!

I had to deliver a couple things last week that were small, so why not deliver them in style?  I had all these papers out getting ready for last week's class so I decorated a few brown paper bags.

This is a little bit smaller than a lunch sack.  Cut cardstock to fit the front and back, layer with coordinating Designer Series Paper.  Cut two Framelits, one in cardstock and one in Designer Series Paper for the flap. Add a handle.  Secure with Velcro and decorate with an embellishment. 

I figured with the brown bag, cardstock, Designer Series Paper, Ribbon and Velcro, this gift packaging's cost me .33 cents!!

The Big Top Birthday Designer Series paper and the Tempting Turquoise 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon retire on May 31st.  If you want some, I suggest you order quickly.
