I knew immediately my crazy husband had been up late.... sorry honey, cantaloupe, I'm already married! Get it?? Besides who wants a husband with a chocolate Easter Egg nose! Oh he's such a dork...I think I'll keep him!

Easter Boxes

I made 40 of these for Teacher Appreciation!

This is the Box #2 die-cut in Almost Amethyst cardstock. I punched a hole in the front with the Wide Oval punch and added a Window Sheet. I added the little chick from A Good Egg set that was totally inspired by BFF!
I hope the teachers love them!

Chocolate Bunny Tags

I made a few little Easter tags to put in orders as a thank you. I have to use my Chocolate Bunny a lot because I am going to run out of time soon! No Chocolate Bunny stamping after Easter for me.
Cardstock: Hugs (118778) $4.95 for 20, Rectangle Glassine Envelopes (117227) $5.95 for 20 both from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Rose Red, Regal Rose, Old Olive

Stamp Sets: Inspired By Nature for the grass and Chocolate Bunny (116980) $7.95

Accessories: Scallop Circle, Trio Flower 1/4" Circle and Two-Step Bird (for the leaves) Punches, Pretty in Pink Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Silver Brads, Polka Dot Embossing Folder and the Big Shot (you need THIS!! Ü)

Here are the ingredients...Hugs (rectangle scalloped white cardstock, pre-cut, 20 to a package, order number above) and Rectangle Glassine Envelopes. After I stamped the grass on the Hugs, I ran it through the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder (117335) $7.95 and the Big Shot(113439) $99.95 for texture.
Speaking of the Big Shot, I've had several questions on this. It comes with the 2 Standard Cutting Pads and the Multipurpose platform so you can start cutting immediately! You just need a die-cut or an Embossing Folder and you are good to go...but then you will need several more die-cuts and more accessories because it is so COOL and addictive! But in the best way Ü
Order all your Stampin' Up! supplies right HERE at my demonstrator website.
Thank you!

Flower Folds Pin Cards

After we finished our Stamp Club projects Friday night, one of our members volunteered to show us all how to make flowers that are so popular right now, with the Flower Folds die-cut and Big Shot (you need this!). I've been wanting to try this for a long time...but for me it borders on crafty and I am so NOT crafty. I really don't like 'crafts'. I stamp and that's ALL! Me n' the glue gun are NOT such good friends, you know... we have a rather sticky relationship!
We all loved learning how to make the flowers and made big beautiful flowers with all 4 sizes on the die-cut. I wanted to try to turn them into a card, so you have a card and a gift! This is what I came up with.
I used Real Red and Pretty in Pink Corduroy brads for the centers and the 2 smallest size flowers on the die-cut.

If you are making one you may as well make a bunch while all the supplies are out.
Cardstock: Regal Rose, Whisper White, Rose Red
Stamp Set: With All My Love, Thank You Kindly
Accessories: Big Shot (you need this!), Flower Folds die-cut, Circles #2 die-cut, Scallop Circles #2 die-cut, Scallop Trim Border, Rose Red Grosgrain Ribbon, fabric for flowers, Corduroy Brads, Linen Thread, Safety Pins

Make all your flowers first. There are a ton of videos on You Tube, I like the ones done by Stamp Shack Lady best.
I cut a circle from the Circles #2 die-cut out of felt, and used my Crop-a-dile to make the holes for the safety pin.
I made my cards, leaving room for the flower to be the focal point.
I used my old eyelet setting tools to make holes in the center of the circle for attaching the pin.
Inside of the card looks like this.
Attach the pin to the card...easy peasy! Actually it wasn't easy. It was hard as hell to get that pin on the card without bending the cardstock. Sorry I didn't get a picture of the first 2 that are in the garbage. I figured that I needed to make my holes closer together then it was easy peasy...for real this time!
I made a bunch because as I said earlier, me n' the glue gun are NOT friends and she is going back in the closet for a long time! I have too much stamping to do to mess with her!

Mini Milk Carton Watering Can

Last week when I was on Amanda Coughlin's blog getting the link to post with my Tote-ally Awesome Tote, I saw that she has made one of the Mini Milk cartons into a watering can and I knew I had to try it!

Isn't this a fun idea? I didn't know what to put in it, so I used...Floral Fusion die-cut flowers! I have them laying all over my desk so I used a Mini Glue Dot to put them on a tiny strip of Old Olive cardstock.
Cardstock: Almost Amethyst, Old Olive
Stamp Set: Happy Moments (FREE Sale-A-Bration set with any $50 purchase!)
Accessories: Mini Milk Carton die-cut, Floral Fusion die-cut, Big Shot (you need this!), Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch, Tiny Tag Punch, Ice Rhinestone Brads

Faux Alligator Gift Bag

Super simple gift bag using the Faux Alligator skin technique.

1. I cut 2 Scallop circles and one Box #2 with the Big Shot (you need this!) out of Real Red cardstock.
2. Cut the bottom of the scallop circles flat.
3. Press your Versamark pad right onto the carstock and get it all inked up.
4. Sprinkle with Clear Embossing Powder.
5. Run your Bone Folder through the Embossing Powder making a Faux Alligator print. Shake off the excess powder.
6. Heat with Heat tool until shiny and clear.
7. Cut the top folding flaps from the Box #2, leaving the box open
8. Adhere the 2 Scallop Circles to each side of the box with Sticky Strip and embellish as desired.
9. This one used 6 layers of DSP cut with the Scallop Circle Punch. Scrunch the layers in your hand, stack, insert the brad and fluff them up to look like a flower. The stem is one of the leaves from the Sweet Peas Stitched Felt.
10. Fill with a gift! This one was for a Simply Adorned Charm Ü

Tote-ally Awesome Tote

Remember the swap I participated in at Leadership in my January postings? This is one of the swaps I received...my own Becky's Tote-ally Awesome Tote made by Amanda Coughlin! I was SO excited to see she used one of my tutorials!! She gave them to us flat and I just got around to actually peeling the Sticky Strip and assembling it. Man it was easy! Too bad all our projects can't come pre-Sticky Stripped! Ü

She made this with the beautiful Shades of Spring DSP in the Occasions Mini Catalog (117160 $9.95).

The card is made with Garden from the Heart stamp set (117004 $22.95 wood mount OR 118568 $16.95 clear mount) from the Occasions Mini Catalog too.

Isn't it just beautiful? Thank you Amanda!!

You can order the tutorial to make your own Becky's Tote-ally Awesome Tote right HERE for just $5.95 OR on the right hand sidebar of my blog. The picture looks like this:
The tutorial will be e-mailed to you.

If you have question about the contents of this particular project by Amanda, please direct all questions to her at http://www.stampvamps.com/. All other questions can come to me.
