Special Delivery Valentines Love Bug

Here is a cute little Love Bug card.  

I've been working on Valentine's projects and have some really cute things to share with you in the next few weeks.

This card uses Special Delivery Etched Dies which was actually a Spellbinders release at Christmastime, BUT there is nothing Christmas about it.  It makes a darling little Love Bug car!  If you use the presents that are in the die to tie to the top of the car when it is not Christmas, it would be a super cute birthday card.

This car has all the tiny details, a bumper and a fender, front and back lights, wheels and hubcaps and a door handle.  The car has slits in it so you can put a piece of cardstock behind it for dimension and color.

The scallop frame is the Scallop A2 Card Frames from Honey Bee Stamps.  I love this die set and use it all the time!

The embossed sky is an embossing folder from Altenew called Cloudy Day.  This is super crisp, embossing folder that is gorgeous using both the positive and the negative side.  I've lightly sponged a little Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink on the clouds.

Also used a patterned paper from American Crafts that I picked up at Joann.

Idaho Custom Creations February Tiered Tray Kit

The February Tiered Tray Kit from Idaho Custom Creations is...BIRTHDAY!! 

 

I've never had a birthday tray before so this was super fun.  The kit comes with the most beautiful teal and purple colors as you can see on the ICC website, but I live with a house full of boys, so I changed my colors.

My tray is from Felt Creative Home Goods and can be purchased HERE. 

 I have one in brown and white.

Here are the pieces included in this months kit.  

The stand with the three slits is for the three candles.

As a reminder, the kit comes unfinished and with everything you need to complete it, including paint.  It is a monthly subscription through Idaho Custom Creations.  Michelle owns the company, I just paint for her and enjoy all her products!

She offers the subscription kit as well as regular products for sale in her shop, and she takes custom orders. 

I use all Deco Art Americana 2 oz paints from the craft store.  I will link the main colors to Amazon in case you don't have a craft store near you.

This cute 6 x 6 felt letter board comes in a three pack and is a must have for all tier tray users. 

Three different felt colors and they come with a set of black letters and white letters as well as cursive days of the week.  A great value for just $35.

The also come in 4 x 10  rectangle shape.

An add-on option for this month is a set of numbers with little stands.  

  That way you can display the age of the birthday recipient.  I have two sets of numbers as my kids are all double digit birthdays.  

You can also use 25 for Christmas, 14 for Valentine's Day, 4 for 4th of July, etc.  They're not just for birthdays.

This months new jar filler add-on is 4 double sided presents.

Then as always there are two new inserts for the Interchangeable Circle Sign.  This month they are birthday themed to coordinate with the kit.

Trinity Stamps Guest Designer - Cozy Bear Sweet Shop

I'm so excited to be a guest artist for Trinity Stamps new release - especially when they sent me this adorable sweet shop set!

They have such cute products and super fun embellishments for shaker cards...so that's exactly what I made! Look at those cute little Bubblemint Candy shaker bits. 👀

This card is colorful, busy and fun just like a candy shop should be.  

I used the Cozy Bear Sweet Shop Stamps and Dies and the Trinity Stamps Love, Dani Paper Collection to create this card.  I colored the images with Copic markers.

I really wanted to use all the candy again, so I made a card that was a little less busy. Again, all images are colored with Copic markers and a few are die cut and popped up with foam tape for added dimension.

I layered it on a piece of black cardstock then popped the panel up on foam tape before adding it to the Trinity Stamps Love, Dani Paper Collection pink stripe.

Papertrey Ink January Release Sneak Peek Day 4

We've made it to the final day of Papertrey Ink January Release sneak peeks.

I really enjoyed this one, lots of elements to play and design with in this set.

On this card, I cut the window out of the front of the card and then put a piece of window sheet behind it.  I backed the inside of the card front with Aqua Sky cardstock.

The Sending Warm Hugs is from a sentiment set not in this release, Perfect Pairs: Essentials Stamp Set.

I used the curtains and the curtain rod on this card in front of the window.  I embossed the pattern on the curtains with white embossing powder. The cute little kitty is is sleeping in the window.

Papertrey Ink January Release Sneak Peek Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of the Papertrey Ink January Release Sneak Peeks!

Today we have circles and more circles from the Pattern Party Stamps and Dies and cute first aid with the  Band-aid wishes Stamps and Dies.

These flowers and leaves are made with patterns from the Pattern Party Stamps and Dies.  I stamped them with Versamark and embossed with Clear Embossing powder before die cutting them.  The leaves are from the Into The Blooms: Roses.
