What else is going on?
31% Off Digital Sale-Now Through September 14!

Good news: Stampin' Up! has decided to extend the 31% Off Digital sale until September 14! They know you are wrapping up summer stuff, getting everybody back to school, and things are busy. Now everybody can have a little more breathing room to finish their projects to send off to the print services.

Stampin' Up! realizes that this change doesn't go along with their little "31 theme," but . . . who cares? When we're talking SALE, 45 days is better than 31! In fact, you are the ones who made it happen; we decided to extend the sale because you asked for more time since there was so much going on in August with the release of MDS 2 at the same time.

Are you wondering what I'm talking about?  Ever wanted to try a digital program but didn't want to invest the money incase you don't like it?
Now is the time to try it FREE!

Click HERE to head over to my online store to download it FREE for 30 days!

For The Bride

There has been a lot going on here the last couple of weeks!  The boys are getting ready to return to school, lots of shopping, a quick trip to California to see my peeps and a wedding coming up.

Plus this week I have 2 free classes this week in preparation for my local stamp clubs starting again.  If you signed up for one of the classes, you should have received an e-mail from me today.  If you didn't receive it, contact me please.

It's hard to see white on white but this is a really pretty card.  My Godson is getting married...man, does that ever make me feel old!

Cardstock:  Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamp Set:  Confetti, words on the inside
Accessories:  Old Olive Polka Dot Ribbon, Paper Daisies, Boho Blossom Punch, Bold Brights Glimmer Brads, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Stripes Embossing Folder, Big Shot

A couple of weeks ago, I made a quick flight home to Roseville, CA to speak at my side line, Janice Urke's downline meeting.  That's a mouth full, isn't it?!  She asked me to talk about recruiting, running a successful business, how to get started, restarted, market yourself, etc.  Basically it was a mini business boot camp all wrapped up in about an hour and a half.  Plus we stamped - of course!  And the best part is I got to invite my California team girls and catch up with them again!! Hi girls!

Meet Evette, she is my good friend and team member and one of THE most talented stampers I know, seriously!  She's in Visalia and is currently working on a huge fundraiser for her kids school.  You should see the table settings she is putting together!!!  It was so great to meet you and chat in person Evette!!!

Speaking of talented stampers, check this out.  This is my Tote-ally Awesome Tote tutorial all done up in Floral District Designer Series Paper and the beautiful new Papillon Potpourri stamp set with matching Elegant Butterfly punch.  Great job Pollyanna Hall and thank you for sharing your class with us!

If you would like to make this project for yourself, you can order the tutorial on the right hand side bar or the tutorials page of this blog.

Stamp Clubs Now Forming

Join The Club!

Have you ever thought about joining a stamp club?  As a member of the club, you get an exclusive workshop once a month to learn new stamping techniques and trends, use my supplies, and take home 3 to 4 projects!  It is a LOT of fun!!
My stamp clubs are getting ready to start again here in the Boise area in September and will stamp together for 8 months.  I currently have 3 groups with openings; you can choose from Wednesday, Thursday or Friday evenings.
E-mail me if you are interested in more info. *Ü*

This is my little Nicholas who is now 13 and going into the 8th grade.  He fell in love with this koala hat at the gift shop of the Sacramento Zoo when he was only 18 months old, and he was not leaving without it!  So I bought it for him, cuz that's what mother's do to get their kids to stop screaming, right?  He wore this thing day and night for about 2 years, definitely worth the $9.00.

I got him to put it on when I was making this page for the convention display boards, I was thinking of a before and after kind of thing. It somehow just isn't as cute as it used to be, lol!!  Plus I've been banned from blogging about him because it 'isn't cool, mom', so don't tell him he's on here today. *Ü*

Both projects use You're Amazing stamp set, World Spectacular Designer Series Paper, Ticket Duo Builder Punch, Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

You Are Fabulous Tags

We had some big things happen at Inking Everything last month. I used the stamp set I Am that I received at convention to make gift tags for the gifts I sent out to those who had promotions.

Here are a few of them together with the stamp set.
Edited To Add:  This stamp set was a gift to those who attended all their convention classes.  I have no idea if this is going to be a set that will be offered at some time.

I used the Labels Collection Framelits to create a frame, added a window sheet in between the layers and Stampin' Dimensionals for a little 3D effect.

Cardstock:  Basic Black, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive, Melon Mambo
Stamp Set:  I Am
Accessories:  Labels Collection Framelits, Big Shot, Window Sheets, Modern Label punch, Word Window Label punch, Boho Blossoms punch, and the flower from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack

Treat Yourself LIke Your Own Best Company

I love that saying, 'treat yourself like your own best company'!  I'm so glad we have a stamp set for that.
Time to make a few more single sided notecards.  I love these for short, quick notes.

Cardstock:  Night of Navy, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper
Stamp Set:  Creative Elements
Accessories:  Large Scallop Edgelit, Big Shot, Midnight Muse Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Summer Starfruit Marker

The stitching on this ribbon is white and I was using vanilla cardstock, so I used my Summer Starfruit marker to die the stitches.  Worked great!
