It's A S'mores Holiday!

Sending S'more Holiday Cheer; we all need more holiday cheer this year!  I'm excited to get my tree up and enjoy the holiday, but I always wait until after Thanksgiving.  In the meantime, I am in full holiday making mode and have so many fun things to share with you in the coming months.

Today's card is from The Greetery called S'more Holiday Stamp Set and Dies.  Here's a fun fact - I love s'more things, but I am not a fan of s'mores, I don't like them! *Ü*

I also used the Graham Cracker Cuts Die to create the full size 'sandwich'.
I cut it from true Kraft cardstock and sponged it a bit with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink.  The chocolate bar and the marshmallow between the graham crackers are hand cut and I sponged the marshmallow with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink.

If you have not checked out The Greetery, please do. You are going to be seeing a lot more of her products on here because I can't stop playing with them!!

Everyday Purse Builder and an Instagram Hop

Today at 1pm EST/12pm Central/11am Mountain/10am Pacific time I'm participating in a special Instagram Hop celebrating my crafty friend Erica reaching 10K followers!  If you don't follow me on Instagram, please do - lots of fun goes on over there.
For following along on the hop, you have a chance to win one of 3 prizes.  Concord & 9th is giving away one $50 grand prize and two $25 gift certificates to their store!

In celebrating we are supposed to show off our favorite Concord & 9th product.  For me that was easy, it is my collaboration project with them called Everyday Purse Builder.  It is a stamp and die set that creates adorable gift card size purses for super fun gift packaging.

Today I have made the purse with Concord & 9th Cranberry cardstock and the new Candy Stripe Background Stamp. I love this new stripe background, it is perfect for Christmas!!
The gold is from the Neutrals Foil Paper Pack.
For those of you who may be new, here is the chart that shows how to assemble the purse and what all the pieces are for. There is also a video on the Concord & 9th You Tube channel.

Remember to head over to Instagram at 10 am MST to join in on the hop.  You will start on my page @inkingidaho.  See you there!

Thankful For My Gnomie

Jaded Blossom is having a small Fall Release and of course I chose the Thanksgiving gnomes to play with!
Today's project is made using the Thankful for My Gnomies stamp set.

I made a folder that will hold three fall themed recipes to deliver to friends.
I colored the gnomes with Copic markers and adhered them to the cover with foam squares. I have a piece of twine wrapping around as that is what keeps the folder closed.

Thankful For My Gnomie stamp set/stencil bundle.

The measurements for the folder are 6-1/2" x 8-1/2".
Score the 8-1/2" side at 2-1/4" and 6".
Score the 6-1/2" side at 1/2" and 6".
All 3 cards inside are 3-1/4" x 5" and I made the tabs with the envelope punch board.

Thank you to Pinkstrawberryz on Instagram for the fun idea!

Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Cheer Sneak Peek Day 4

Hello Stampers!
Welcome to the Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Cheer Release Final Day, Sneak Peek Day 4!
Today you will meet
Big Pickup Cab Stamps and Dies
Joy Buzzword Stamps and Dies

This truck is FULL size card size - BIG and I love it!  It is actually not a Christmas set and has sentiments for every day use.
I colored the truck with Copic markers and ink blended the background with the Layering Birch Tree Stencils.  The sentiment is embossed in white.

Of course for this release, I had to make a Christmas truck!
The background is the Holly and Berries Stencil.  It is 2 pack stencil and lines up beautifully.
The sentiment is from Joy Buzzword Stamps and Dies and is embossed in white on black cardstock.

As with all new releases, I chose just a few to play with today.  Please check out the Honey Bee Blog and other design team members to see all the rest.  This release is HUGE and has so many wonderful options for holiday and winter stamping!

Everything will be available Sunday, October 25th at 11:59 PM EST

Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Cheer Sneak Peek Day 3

Hello Stampers!
Welcome to the Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Cheer Release Sneak Peek Day 3!
Today you will meet
Country Christmas Wreath Stamps and Dies

This beauty is made with the Lovely Layers Pinecone Dies.  Man, these things are SO pretty and easy to line up and make!  The alphabet is the new BEE Narrow Alphabet Dies.

How about this Burlap A2 Coverplate Die.  This was fun.  I ink blended all the browns on it before I cut it - oh and by the way, all those little pieces pop out so easy!  I didn't even have to use my poker...yes, technical term.  The tiny images and sentiment are from the Country Christmas Wreath Stamps and Dies.  I colored them with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is embossed in white.

This one was ink blended with Forest Moss Distress Oxide ink before adding the little images that are from the Country Christmas Wreath Stamps and Dies.  Again, all are colored with Copic markers and the sentiment is embossed in white.

I used a 4" embroidery hoop and a piece of fabric here to make a wreath from the Country Christmas Wreath Stamps and Dies.  The JOY is made with BEE Narrow Alphabet Dies.  Regarding the hoop, I removed the screw and bent the metal pieces back. Then I glued a knob to the top for decoration and stained it with Early American Minwax stain.

Birch A2 Layering Coverplate Dies Top and Base

This was so fun to make using the new Birch A2 Layering Coverplate Dies Top and Base.  I cut the trees from Copic friendly cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers to keep them light and snowy.  The snowman, trees and sentiment are from Santa's Village Stamps and Dies.  I

I used practically all the pieces in the Santa's Village Stamps and Dies to create a fun Christmas scene.  All images are colored with Copic markers.

Look how cool this is!  An A2 card size shaker Snow Globe. I love this die and will be using this again and again...and maybe not even for Christmas!
