Journey Color Burst Pencils

I have had inquiries about the pencils I'm using for the cards I have colored.  They are the Journey Color Burst pencils and as you can see from the things I've posted lately, I LOVE them! 

 

 

 

You blend the pencils with Color Burst Blenders and a little bit of Fusion Blender to get smooth creamy, beautiful coloring.

Our Nicholas Graduated This Weekend!

Our Nicholas graduated from high school this weekend with highest honors.  We could not be more proud of this young man...except for the graduation part, which leads to the leaving home part. ;-( 

We had the best day celebrating his accomplishments with a house full of family and friends!  It was really more like a three day party - the kid made a haul!

This cute little Creature Comforts set is one of the choices in the  Fun Stampers Journey starter kit. It has several more animals and woodland things but I decided on the fox, bunny and raccoon for this card.

Donut Worry Cards

Donut Worry is a Fun Stampers Journey set I've been playing with this week.  If you follow me on Instagram, I showed you a little video earlier.  Sometimes I show the fun you don't see here, so please follow me!

I cut them off the edge and used them on another card!

 

   To create a bit of dimension, lightly bend the edges with your Crease Tool then add Foam Squares to the center.

Lunch Sack Gift Card Pouches

This project is made from a brown paper bag lunch sack.  I folded it up and sewed it to make a little pouch for a Starbucks Gift Card.  

I'm working on teacher gifts for the very last time.  Our baby is about to graduate in a few short days.

Dahlia Burst

This beautiful stamp set is called Dahlia Burst. It has 3 sizes of Dahlias and two sizes of leaves. Technically they could all three layer onto each other but I have only used 2 here.

I freaking LOVE these silks - they splatter such pretty little dots and this one is shimmery. I'm probably going to be splattering all my things for a while, I have several colors to try!

Hey Sugar

 I've created my first project with Fun Stampers Journey products!

I definitely need to buy some more embellishments as this project ended up a little plain, but I'll get there.

 

This stamp set is called Hey Sugar and the cards are 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" size.  The box is from the Treat Box Die Template and is pretty stinking adorable!  It opens at the top like a crayon box or candy box and I cut the rectangle in it with the paper cutter.  The splatter dots in red are from the Silk - it looks like fingernail polish but you flick it on your cardstock and it splatters.  Pretty cool!
