Groovy Love Valentine Card

 Next week I'm teaching a Valentines class for Boise Community Education and this is one of the cards they will be making.  I love this stacked up layered look of the hearts.

 

Cardstock:  Whisper White, Blushing Bride and Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper

Stamp Set:  Groovy Love

Accessories:  Sweetheart Punch, heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Banner Triple Punch

 

 

Cut 1" off the right side of the card front and use that for the banner piece you stamp the word on. 

Tip: 1. Layer the hearts starting with the top and bottom hearts first. 

          2. Only add adhesive to the left side of the heart (so you don't glue your card shut *Ü*)

Balloon Celebration Birthday

What's a birthday without balloons?  Here are some cheery balloons and stars floating across the front of this card.

 

 

Cardstock:  Pool Party, Whisper White, Coaster Board

Stamp Sets:  Balloon Celebration, Number of Years (Birthday)

Accessories:  Hello You Thinlits, Big Shot

 

Stamp the balloons, stars and birthday.  Cut 'happy' out of the front of the card.  Cut 'happy' from a piece of Coaster board and insert into the negative space on the card.  Adhere the 'happy' you just cut out back over the top to create a slightly raised effect.

Crazy About You Emboss Resist

   I'm not big on techniques, but I really do love the emboss resist technique. Everything just pops when you add color.  

For this card, I stamped the background in Black and then the flowers in Versamark.  Emboss with Clear Embossing Powder and then sponge color over it.
