Happy Turkey Day and A Brand New Fall Embossing Folder

Do you make card for Thanksgiving?
I usually do not. I do make a lot of tags to attach to quick gift giving items during the season though.
This die set and embossing folder will be making an appearance on several tags, but today I have them made into cards to share with you,

I'm so happy to have new embossing folders - I love the look of texture in the background!

Look at all the details in this die set, from the buckle on his hat, all the pieces for his face and through all his feathers. This was a fun set to use!

Berry Basket Dies and Layering Daisies

White on white is a little bit hard to photograph so I hope you can appreciate how cute these Daisy Layering Dies are.
I cut two for each flower and layered them with the centers to create a bouquet with the new Berry Basket Dies.

The Berry Basket Dies caught my attention in the previews.  I know this was coming to live at my house!  I'm not much of a berry stamper, so I opted to get the Daisy Layering Dies.  I have a ton of ideas for these cute little baskets!

The label is a rectangle cut in Diamond Glitter Cardstock and two 1/2" circles on either end.
HELLO is from the Jumbo Tag Die.
The cardstock 'liner' for the basket is ink blended  with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink.
The daisies have a very light sponging of Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide near the center.  The centers have a little bit of Ground Espresso Distress Oxide sponged on the edges of the yellow.

The
Berry Basket Dies are a set of two, small and large.  This next card used the smaller basket and the smallest daisy from the  Daisy Layering Dies.
The background is the Plaid Stencil and Delicate Dots Stencil
The sentiment is Sending Paper Hugs.
The 'liner' for the basket is the same as above,  Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink.

Hey There Pumpkin

This time if year I feel like my blog postings are all over the place as companies release Halloween, Fall and Christmas at the same time!  It's all good though because we need to see it all. Right? 😎

This build your own pumpkin set is a great one because it has the different patterns and sizes for the pumpkins as well as the sentiment AND the floral pieces.  I love a good full service set!
I stamped the pumpkin in Black on white cardstock, put it on a black background and added the floral pieces colored in Copic markers.  The sentiment is stamped in orange.

Jaded Blossom New Release - Halloween

It's a new release for Jaded Blossom and they're breaking out all the Halloween fun!

Do you remember the original trick or treat pail like this with the Jack O Lantern face on it?
That's all we had back in the day.
Now they have all kinds of fun and fancy trick or treat pails, so I created one in this blog post that I would pick if I were trick or treating now! 😍

The Halloween pail is made with the new Octagon Treat Box Dies.
The die set comes with the jack o lantern face and a stem if you want to make it into a pumpkin and also there is a companion set called Octagon Treat Box Halloween Add-Ons that makes it into a Frankenstein or a vampire.
The thing I really like about it is, its just an octagon shape and a handle and could be used for any occasion all year long.

The Trick or Treat sentiment is from the new Large Halloween Treats Stamp Set and Dies and I put it on the back.

The card is showing off the new super cute Boo Crew Stamps and Dies.  This little vampire gnome is perfect for Halloween tags or cards.  The sentiment is in the set and the bat is from the smaller version of these gnomes in the Batty For You Stamps and Dies.

If I had to buy a Halloween bucket for myself these days, this is the one I would choose! Shades of pinks and peaches with a touch of gold.
Gnome is from the Boo Crew Stamps and Dies
Bats are from the Batty For You Stamps and Dies
Happy Halloween and Boo are from the Large Halloween Treats Stamp Set and Dies

Do you like Halloween things that are not traditional colors?
I put up a poll on my Instagram last week and 93% said YES

I used my favorite Bread Tag Die for these tags stamped with the Batty For You Stamp Set and Dies.
I know I use this bread tag a lot, but honestly it just fits perfect over any bow, and is such a great size for a tag.
The images are colored with Copic markers and slid over the ribbons on the baggies of candy.  These baggies are the Wilton Pretzel Bags and I cut off the extra at the top.

You know how I love a good treat set.  This one is called Halloween Hisses and are coffee cups.  I've colored them with Copic markers, cut them out and attached them to coffee packs.
These little coffee packs are slid into the 1 x 8 Cello bags and the extra is just folded over.  These bags are perfect for M&M's, skittles and small candies as well as pencils, pixie sticks, licorice or anything long and skinny.

This kitty was looking a little hissy, so I added a pair of bright orange Halloween glasses from the
Sunglasses Dies to make her friendlier.

Through The Woods Die Set

This is such a cute ornament set, its the perfect size for ornaments, tags or cards and is loaded with dimension and texture.
Through the Woods is a 12 piece die set.

For the card, I used the Through The Woods dies with the new Christmas Traditions 6 x 6 paper pack.  The sentiment is from the new Christmas Time Sentiments set.

For the ornament/tags, I used all the pieces in the die set so you can see how they look with different cardstocks.  I didn't make one, but these would be super cute as shakers too.

This one is made with Silver Mirror cardstock, although it is hard to see in this photo. The blue sky is Cosmic Sky cardstock and the truck is Silver Fox cardstock.
The trees are Rain Forest and Fern.

Through The Woods

This one is in shades of teals, the darkest is Lagoon, the truck is Teal Topaz and the sky is Waterfall.
The trees are Rain Forest and Fern.

The traditional red truck in Poppy Field cardstock.  The sky is Glacier cardstock.
The trees are Rain Forest and Fern.

Sweater Weather

Is it Sweater Weather where you live yet?
It's sort of thinking about it here, we're getting there.

I have been playing with this cute sweater set from Pigment Craft Co.  Have you checked them out yet?  They are a fairly new Canadian company with adorable designs.

Sweater Weather has 2 styles of sweaters and several mix and match patterns and textures to make all the sweaters you cold possibly want.
This would make a really cute fall banner if you didn't want to make cards.

Sweater Weather Stamps and Dies
The background is lightly stenciled with the Latte Art Stencil.

The Sweater Weather sentiment is from a Honey Bee Stamps set that I already had also called Sweater Weather stamps and dies.

Idaho Custom Creations October Tiered Tray Kit

I seems early to be thinking about Thanksgiving, but for us DIYers, who paint our own tiered tray kits with the Idaho Custom Creations kit, we need to work a month in advance.
I get so many requests for the colors of paint I've used, that instead of answering all the messages, I'm going to try to remember to include them in each months post. They are listed below.

My tray is from Felt Creative Home Goods and can be purchased HERE
I have this brown one and a white one.

This month we have a cornucopia, gather/ pumpkin banner, bread board with a wishbone and Give Thanks, a pumpkin pie and an adorable tag with silverware on it,  I say this pretty much every month, but I really love these pieces! 😍
The kit comes with everything you need to complete the projects, from paint to jute for the banner.
This is a subscription kit, BUT you are able to pause it for the months you don't wish to receive.  Each month you get a freebie gift in your kit and this month is a beautiful dimensional leaf!
Michelle owns Idaho Custom Creations, and she has other items for sale in her shop besides subscription kits.  You can see her shop HERE.
