Creating Your Own Rainbow Part One

Have you ever thought about your own rainbow and what shades of the rainbow appeal to you?
What catches your eye?
Is it the true primary colors, very light pastels or something in between?
For me, I gravitate towards the same shades of colors pretty much every time.  So...I set out to create my own rainbow.  Today's cards are Part One, next time I will show you the rest.  I had such a good time putting these together with colors I LOVE!

My main rainbow cardstock colors are:
Rose: Reverse Confetti
Flamingo:  Reverse Confetti
Calypso Coral:  Stampin' Up!
Sunshine:  Reverse Confetti
Lemongrass:  Fun Stampers Journey/Spellbinders
Cool Pool:  Fun Stampers Journey/ Spellbinders

I have colors that I fit in between these shades, but these are the ones I'm highlighting today.

This first custom rainbow card uses the Reverse Confetti coffee cup die called Just Brew It.  The sentiment is from the Coffee Helps stamp set. The background is the new Gingham Background stamp from Concord & 9th.

This custom rainbow card highlights the Bear Hugs Bundle and Paper Hug Dies from The Stamp Market.

Today's third custom rainbow card uses the Reverse Confetti die called Just Brew It.  The flowers are from the Blossom Party Bundle at The Stamp Market and the background is the new Gingham Background by Concord & 9th.

Next time I will show you the last three cards I created for this series.
What rainbow variation will you choose?

Skinny Upper Alpha Thanks

I have a very quick and easy thank you card using the Skinny Upper Alpha Dies from The Stamp Market.  I paired it with the Jumbo Plaid Background stamp and A Few Words Stamp Bundle.
This would be a great card to mass product if you needed several thank you cards.

I love the tone on tone with various pinks.  Of course anything in pink works for me. *Ü*

Garden Picks Dies with Coffee Tag

Even the smallest of gifts need a fabulous presentation, right?
One of the things I love most about my job is being able to pull something together on the fly - just when I need it!  I used lots of bits and pieces from my desk, things I had cut extras of, and created a cute tag.

I used the tag from Tag'd Die.  I stamped the top of it with the Jumbo Plaid background stamp in Tin Pail ink.
I had some flowers cut from the gorgeous Garden Picks Dies from Altenew so I used those with a coffee frappuccino from the Coffee First dies.
I did a little ink blending and spritz it with water to create the color.  There is a clear window on the top to make the lid but it's hard to see in the photo.

Scallop Notecard Dies and a Tres Chic Handbag

I have a project with the new Scallop Notecard Dies from The Stamp Market today.  These are really fun - you can see a photo of the die below - you cut it and it has the score line for folding with the beautiful scallop edge.
They measure 4" x 2-1/2" after folding, so you easily get 4 cut from a piece of cardstock.

I paired them with the Skinny Upper Alpha Dies and the the gorgeous Garden Picks Dies from Altenew.  The scripty words across the alphabet are in the Scallop Notecard Dies.

They fit perfectly inside the paper purse - surprise, surprise!  This purse pattern can be found in the Tres Chic Handbags tutorial.
(This is a good old fashioned cut and trace pattern & instruction tutorial - NOT a svg cutting file for electronic cutters.)
