Chalk Talk In A Lunch Bag

When I find a new idea I usually wear it out!  I get a little obsessed with something I love. *Ü*

 

I made this card for my New Catalog Open House Chalk Talk stamp set display.

 

Instead of putting it in an envelope, I put it in a paper bag...envelope.

 

Cardstock:  Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White

Stamp Set:  Chalk Talk, Chevron Background

Accessories:  Wide Oval Punch, Heart Punch. Coastal Cabana Ruffled Stretch Trim, Designer Frames Embossing Folder, Chevron Embossing Folder and the Big Shot, baby!

 

 

I bought regular old lunch sacks from Target, cut off the gusseted part and sealed the new bottom closed with SNAIL.  Then I put it through the Chevron Embossing Folder for some texture.

 

I loved this so much that I used the same style for new catalog swap with my team!

Flower Shop Love Notes

Hi blog friends!  At the request of several of you (thank you) I've added a new feature to my blog.  If you hover over a photo a Pin It button will pop up on the right hand corner of each photo making it easy for you to pin the photos to your Pinterest board.  I'd like some feedback on this if you don't mind...do you like it or not? 

  These are little 3 x 3 Love Note size cards.  I love this size to make a quick thank you to slip into an order for my customers.

Brown Paper Bag Pouches

I'll admit it, I'm in love with brown paper bags. They fall in line with my passion for school supplies and office supplies. *Ü*

 

 

I folded them into pouches and sewed the edges.  First time EVER sewing....I bought a little machine and found a You Tube video on how to use it.  Probably will never be a seamstress, but I'm pretty happy with how these turned out.

 

I used the new Sketched Birthdays stamp set, Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper, Paper Doilies, Natural Trim Ribbon and lots of little accessories.

 

 

These little pouches were for my first level inventive gifts for a job well done.  Nice works ladies!

Team Tuesday

I'm back with another Team Tuesday feature...

 

 

Today I would like to share with you the work of my awesome downline, Monica Mowry of Hayward, California.  This is a project she made for her husband for Father's Day.

 

 

 

 

Isn't this adorable?!

 

Here is what Monica had to say about this project.

1 6 pack of IBC cream soda. 

Candy and Nuts. Any will do as long as it fits going into the bottle.

Card stock: Brights Collection Designer Series Paper to decorate case and belly bands for the bottles.

Pacific Point cardstock for rosette and 1" circle for top of the cap. Tempting Turquoise cardstock for the Father's Fay tag & top of cap.

The following colors for top of caps Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White.

Stamp sets: Cycle Celebration, Create a Cupcake, A Round Array, Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Accessories: Decorative Label Punch, 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch, Large Oval Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Simply Scored scoring tool, Whisper White Baker's Twine.

To decorate the case was pretty easy. I just measured the front and cut it out using the Designer Series Paper.  The handle and the sides I had to trace and then cut out.

For the tags I just stamped and punched out with the decorative label punch and tied it to bottle using whisper white baker's twine.

This was a fun project to do. I got this idea from looking at the new catalog for the first time and seeing this soda stamp. I thought it would be neat to make a tag and attach to a soda bottle. Then it just popped in my head to fill soda bottles with candy. I had thought of just putting the bottles in a little wooden crate you can find at the craft store then when I bought the case I knew I just had to decorate it using our awesome Stampin' Up! paper.
