Magnolia Wreath Bundle Cards

This is a really picture heavy post showing you the steps to make these gorgeous Magnolia Wreath Bundle cards by Concord & 9th.
I fell in love with this set and it was first on my list to order for the holiday season...even though I really don't think it is a holiday specific set - just a beautiful magnolia wreath.

I used the Barnwood Background stamp for the card.  I used Oatmeal Cookie cardstock and Oatmeal Cookie ink for a tone on tone look.

Wreath with the red berries option.

Wreath with the gold berries option.

I made a few into ornaments, several into cards and even one in a shadow box.

The wreath is a two step stamping set.  First I stamped the wreath with Olive Green then lined up the MISTI and stamped the second layer over it with Forest Green.

Look how perfect that stamps!!!

I then cut a bunch, and I mean a bunch, of the accessory pieces.  Greenery in two colors of green cardstock, magnolia flowers, berries in green and red and in gold mirror paper, the extra vine piece that adds dimension to the wreath - everything.  I cut them all!

Then I assembled them all.  I figured if I was going to make a couple, I may as well make a bunch while I'm cutting and stamping, right?  I love sets that have intricate detail and lots of options and this is definitely one of them.
Well designed, Concord &9th!

Tres Chic Handbags with Echo Park Paper

Another photo heavy post but I think you will enjoy seeing the up close pictures of these cuties.
Once again, I am playing with the small purses in my Tres Chic Handbags tutorial and one from the 12 Days of Christmas 2011 edition tutorial.
All are  gift card size, 3 x 3 note card or small candy or gift size.

I used the Echo Park paper pack called Oh Holy Night Collection Kit and the coordinating stamp set.  I used Denim Days, Raspberry Berry and Gold Mirror paper from FSJ for the cardstocks.

These three are from the Tres Chic Handbags tutorial.  It is an old-fashioned trace the pattern and cut, no special machines needed.  You cut the cardstock by hand and fold them up!

Embellished with a cardstock sticker from the kit mounted on a 2" Scallop Gold Mirror circle punchThe handles are 3/8" wide strip of cardstock embellished with 1" circle buckles and Gold Fashion Dots.

The gusset is about 1' wide, this is definitely gift card only size..or money!

This one is embellished with a 1-3/4" circle stamped with a sentiment and accented with the cardstock stickers from the kit.  I tied 2 jingle bells on the tag and hung with twine. It is layered on a 2" Scallop Gold Mirror circle punch.   The embellishments on the clasp are Sparkle Drops.

About 1-1/2 wide gusset.

This one is embellished with Gold Mirror paper stars on the handles.  Cardstock stickers from the kit are on a 1-3/4" circle punch and mounted on a 2" Scallop Circle tied with twine.

This is the widest of the three, almost 2" wide and can hold quite a bit.

This little purse is from the 12 Days of Christmas 2011 edition along with 11 other projects.

Embellished with embossed pieces and a cardstock sticker from the kit, I added jingle bells to this one too - they are such cute little bells!

This one is about 2" wide and can hold quite a bit too.

Daily Deals Day 5

The last day of Daily Deals and we have a free gift with the purchase of select machines and 50% off the Gel Press Bundle.

Today's Christmas home decor is in our piano room...aka the room with the piano no one plays and the chairs no one sits on. 😊

On the piano I have a couple of lanterns and some cute gnomes from @me.and.mama on Instagram.  I've never owned a gnome, but after playing with the Gnome for the Holiday stamp set so much this season, they are growing on me.

My shopping cart is decked out for Christmas.  I have seasonal items I change this one out for - I love this shopping cart!

A new addition this year is this giant bell I put in the bathroom.  It is from Craft Warehouse and is sitting on a sparkly wreath in a pedestal bowl.  I can't get a good photo of it to show how rusty and cool it is or the size, but I really like it!

There is your glimpse into our home this holiday season.  Have you enjoyed it?
