Team Tuesday

This week I'd like to introduce you to Inking Everything team member, Chris Twing who blogs at For The Love of Paper.

Chris has created for us a Star Mini Book Album just in time to show for Christmas gift giving.  This is a great way to showcase picture gifts for loved one and Chris has a video tutorial on the project HERE.

Chris is new again to Stampin' Up! and I'm so excited she's back!  Some of you who have stamped with me for a long time may remember, December 2010, when I used Chris' idea for the coffee cups for one of my creative gift packaging ideas.

Later this week I can't wait to show you this same project in miniature!!!

Team Tuesday

I'm back with another Team Tuesday feature...

Today I would like to share with you the work of my awesome downline, Monica Mowry of Hayward, California.  This is a project she made for her husband for Father's Day.

Isn't this adorable?!

Here is what Monica had to say about this project.

1 6 pack of IBC cream soda.
Candy and Nuts. Any will do as long as it fits going into the bottle.

Card stock: Brights Collection Designer Series Paper to decorate case and belly bands for the bottles.

Pacific Point cardstock for rosette and 1" circle for top of the cap. Tempting Turquoise cardstock for the Father's Fay tag & top of cap.

The following colors for top of caps Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White.

Stamp sets: Cycle Celebration, Create a Cupcake, A Round Array, Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Accessories: Decorative Label Punch, 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch, Large Oval Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Simply Scored scoring tool, Whisper White Baker's Twine.

To decorate the case was pretty easy. I just measured the front and cut it out using the Designer Series Paper.  The handle and the sides I had to trace and then cut out.

For the tags I just stamped and punched out with the decorative label punch and tied it to bottle using whisper white baker's twine.

This was a fun project to do. I got this idea from looking at the new catalog for the first time and seeing this soda stamp. I thought it would be neat to make a tag and attach to a soda bottle. Then it just popped in my head to fill soda bottles with candy. I had thought of just putting the bottles in a little wooden crate you can find at the craft store then when I bought the case I knew I just had to decorate it using our awesome Stampin' Up! paper.

Thank you Monica for sharing such a great project!!

It's time for the new catalog session of Inky Fingers Club!

Team Tuesday

A couple of Tuesday's a month I will be featuring someone from my fantastic team of demonstrators, Inking Everything.

This week I'd like to introduce you to Dianna Johnson.  Dianna is one of my local demonstrators and a beautiful seamstress!  Look at these beautiful baskets she gave me sewn from our Designer Fabric Essentials collection.

I love how these are nestled together.  They have some lining stuff between the fabrics to make them kind of stiff...I'm such a seamstress with my terminology, right?!

All tied up with ribbon - a GREAT gift.  Thank you Dianna!

Stampin' Up! is giving you a peek into our Stampin' Success Magazine. One of the many wonderful perks of being on the 'inside'!
Believe it or not, this was THE reason I signed up to be a demonstrator over 12 years ago - I love this magazine!

If you would like to start receiving it, our starter kit is only $99 and you get to choose $125 in merchandise for the $99 price.
