English Roses Die From Picket Fence Studios

Today there is a brand new release at Picket Fence Studios.

I made two cards featuring the beautiful new English Roses Die.  As always, I just used a few new products, so head over to the website to see them all.

I used one die cut for both cards.  

I colored the entire image including the outline with Copic Markers.  Then I used the outline on the tea card above and the actual roses part on the card below along with a new cut out that is not colored.

I paired the outline piece with the Santa's Hot Cocoa Mug Die (not new to this release) and cut out all the Santa parts, leaving just the mug.  I omitted the cut line on the top of the mug when I ran it through the die cut machine so it would cut a mug shape as the actual card.

This card uses the roses that I colored from the above card along with a white outline and a white backing piece.

I lightly ink blended the card before placing the image on foam tape.  Then I cut several branches from Layering Flora: Leaves and Twigs Dies and tucked them underneath.

Hello There & A Little Note

I have a few new items to show you today from Picket Fence Studios. 

 I don't have them all, so be sure to click over to there to see what is new.

I lightly inked the background in Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink.  

I cut all four of the rings in the new Nesting Ring Die and spaced them out evenly.  I cut a bunch of the little Layering Flora: Leaves and Twigs Dies and placed them around three-fourths of the third largest circle.  I used a White Gel Pen to color the tips of the greenery that most closely resembles baby's breath.  I thought that made such a cute look and really made them stand out!

I added the new sentiment  A Little Note Word Die cut in black cardstock.

A Whole Lot Of Polka Dots Stencil

This one has a lot going on for as simple as it is.  It starts with green dots from the A Whole Lot Of Polka Dots Stencil.  I then cut four strips of graduating shades of green and mounted them on a piece of white cardstock.  I ran that panel through the die cut machine with the A2 Pierced Blanket Cover Plate Die.  I cut the Hello There Word Dies in black and white and hand cut them apart.  I tucked in a few Layering Flora: Blooming Blossoms Dies that were left over from the above card.  The little flower is from the Layering Flora: Blooming Blossoms Dies.

Christmas, Fall, Coffee and Flowers!

I have a few new and a few older products from Picket Fence Studios to share with you.

Christmas, fall, coffee and flowers...that's about how I roll in real life too! 😍

I used the pretty Lavish Negative Strip Die across the middle and backed it with red cardstock.  There is a strip of gold mirror cardstock above and below. The Joy Word Die is cut in black and I used the new Layering Flora: Blooming Blossoms Dies in the center of the 'O'.  I used all three layers of this flower. The die set consists of three different style flowers in three graduated sizes.  The center is hand cut from a 1/4" strip of cardstock.

Pretty straight forward - they are all die cuts.  The mix of fonts in the Hello There Word Dies makes for a really pretty sentiment. The words are all one die but could easily be cut apart.

It is all things coffee in this one, from the The Best Bean In Town Stencil to the Coffee Is The Answer Word Topper Die.  I used a sentiment from the Swanky Friendship Sentiments Stamps and Dies underneath because it is true!

STAMPtember Day For Picket Fence Studios

It's STAMPtember day for Picket Fence Studios!

Have you been following along to see all the darling sets?  A new one is released every day with a different company.

This cute set is called Trimming The Tree, so I created ornaments instead of a card.  

The set is available only at Simon Says Stamp.

I've used Copic markers to color the images and ornaments. The ornament die can be found HERE.

Picket Fence Studios Guest Designer

I'm a guest artist for Picket Fence Studios this month with these cute Easter images?  I

 loved coloring all of these.  

Today is their February Release and they're introducing a new full front shaker card and that was really cool to play with.  I will be making more of those!

This first card is made with the Eggs-tra Special Easter Stamps and Dies.  I colored the images with Copic markers and embossed the sentiment with White Embossing Powder.  I placed the nest on a doily, the background is ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks and sprinkled with water.

I LOVE coloring these eggs.  I'll be coloring more for another project to two. I stenciled the background with the Daisy Burst Stencil.  

I only have a few stencils and this one is in my top rotation pile!

The background is lightly splattered with black paint. In case you want to know, I get out a big box and splatter 20-25 card fronts at a time so I can have them dry and on hand when I need a splattered one.

Eggs-tra Special Easter Stamps and Dies

This is the new full front shaker card.  I made the card with the Eastertime Stamps and Dies.  I used Distress Oxide inks to stamp them and stamped and cut an extra bunny of the outside of the card.  I picked through the sequin mix to get the colors that matched the bunnies.  There are new Easter and spring sequin mixes this month that are super cute!

I cut the shaker card front with clear window sheet.

For The Love of Coffee

It has been a while since I made a coffee card. I need some new coffee dies, it appears that my favorite Coffee First dies from Spellbinders have been discontinued! GASP!

If you have any coffee set suggestions, leave them in the comments for me because I probably need them all *Ü*.
