After all those fabulous sneak peeks we now have a Blog Hop so you can get all the inspiration you could possibly need from the Honey Bee Stamps Design Team.
I saved my favorite projects for the Blog Hop because I made a video for you! Today's New product is: Spring Bouquets Honey Cuts (dies)
I chose a color theme and then cut a million (it seemed like it!) pieces from the die set. I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to do so I cut waaaay more than needed. Plenty for future projects for sure! I started stacking and layering and creating flowers. For my first card I decided to use the basket to put the flowers in. I ink blended the background in Gathered Twigs and Abandoned CoralDistress Oxide inks and I lightly flicked some water on it. I stamped the sentiment from Farm Fresh Florals and then added the basket on Foam Squares.
Spring Bouquets is a stand alone die set of 32 pieces - florals and leaves, a basket and a watering can.
Approximate Dimensions: Watering Can: 3" tall x 2 3/4" wide. Basket: 3" wide x 3 1/8" tall.
Flowers Range from: 1" to 1 1/2" wide x 5/8" to 1 1/2" tall.
I added little dots with a marker to the centers to add a bit more dimension.
The second card uses the flowers in the watering can.
I die cut the watering can in a gray cardstock and lightly shaded it with Copic Markers.
These are stunning. First of all I love Earth tones, so I love the background colors. Your bouquets are gorgeous. You may missed your calling as a florist. Also, you've done a beautiful job shading the basket and pitcher also. I just love these. Thanks for the video!
This bouquet builder is really cool. Love your combinations with the basket and watering can. I can see myself using this one a lot! Happy Anniversary Honey Bee and thank you for all your wonderful products. Becky you are a master, from purses to cards, you're really styling it...
Lovely cards, Becky! The dimension of the flowers creates a keepsake. The colors you chose are very warm and I like the depth you created with placement so the arrangement appears to be sitting on a table. A wonderful stop on this hop!
Hi Becky, Thank you SOOO MUCH for this very informative video and sharing your techniques of how to make the FLORAL BOUQUETS DIES come to life!!! I haven't seen a video from you before but will be sure to follow you now!!! Your instructions were easy to follow and I look forward to giving your method of popping up the flowers! Love your choice of colors also and look forward to seeing more from you!!!
I saw this set and your finished card picture, thinking uh-uh, beautiful results but too hard for me. Then I watched the video with the quick molding, glue dots and stem handles, and you've made it all seem so doable-- Thank you!
I love both of your cards but your second one with the farm pitcher is my favorite. I have a silk arrangement in my room with something close and this made me smile.
