Picket Fence Studios December Release

This months release is full of cake, sweet things, travel and fun.
I had a great time coloring these images, this might be my favorite release so far!

I love that the cakes are fancy and pretty and not the standard birthday cakes we see in stamps so often.
These are all colored with Copic markers.  The stripe background is Rough Around The Edges.

This cake and decorative jar is on a hand cut tag.  The background is Distress Oxide ink over embossed flowers from the set.

This one is just simple and pretty with a pink background.

Switching gears, the December head series is German Braids.  I thought these were crazy when I first saw them, but they are turning out to be some of my favorite cards.

The background is called A City in the World and I love that is is kind of nondescript,  it literally could be anywhere.
Since this month is mostly about cake (for me, anyway), my girl is just there for the cake! *Ü*
I used a flower form the cake to adorn her hair too.

This is a full size background stamp.

My final card is using the flowers in the Let's Decorate set with the A City in the World Background and a stand alone sentiment set called Love You The Mostest.

These are just a few of the new products.  Be sure to check the Picket Fence Studios new release page to see all the new products.

Christmas Tiered Tray

You all know how much I love my tiered tray!  I usually put it away at Christmastime, but this year I decided to keep it out.  So this is the first time I've decorated it in a Christmas theme and I had so much fun!

My tray is from Target, but it is often sold out, so I linked it at Amazon too.

The trees are from Hobby Lobby, the houses are from the Target (large, medium, small).
The tiny cup is from TJ Maxx and I had my baker, Benjamin whip up some topping when he was home over Thanksgiving. We mixed spackling paste and white paint in a piping bag and I cut a piece of a paper straw to put in it before it dried.
The JOY with the bell in the middle is from a local store called The Nest and the greenery and gnome (it was an ornament) are from The Lob.

Christmas Tree Cookie Card

Who likes Christmas cookies?
I love frosted sugar cookies but don't dare make them as a batch
becomes a single serving...ya, you can judge me. *Ü*
So stamping paper cookies works out best for me!

This card is made with the new Christmas Tree Cookie Stamp Bundle from The Stamp Market.  I stamped and colored them with Copic markers and then mounted them on Kraft cardstock after I embossed the background in white with the Fine Lines Background stamp.
I embossed the Merry & Sweet with white on black cardstock.

Concord & 9th's December Release

Welcome to Concord & 9th's December Release and it's all about the love, bubble gum, Valentine's, tacos and ice cream!  All the fun things in life, right?

I have a few cards to show you today but as usual, it's just a bit of the actual release.  Be sure to check HERE to see all the new products - they are awesome!

This bundle is called I Chews You.  Who doesn't love a good gum ball machine?

It's so cute and the best part...the die that cuts the 5 cents actually cuts and scores the flap.  Yep, pretty cool!

I used a window sheet to make a clear ball for gum machine, but it is hard to photograph, so you get to take my word for it.

This one is pure love, so I went bold and graphic.  It is called Love You To Pieces.

I paired this one with the Woven Stripes Background stamp.

Who's up for tacos and ice cream?  When you can't decide which to use, tacos or ice cream, you use them both!   This one is called Special Delivery.

There is also a brand new Turnabout stamp this month.  It is called XOXO Turnabout Stamp and is just about the most perfect little thing ever!

Who loves FREE?  I love FREE things!!
This month, with a $60 order, you get this Hugs All Around die FREE!

If you want the entire release in one click, HERE is the link for that.  What a great Christmas gift that would make!

Hard Candy Christmas Cards

Do you remember the days of ribbon candy in fancy jars?  My grandma had them all over her house at Christmastime.  It brings back so many awesome memories for me, so when I saw this set, it was a must have for me.
These are several cards I made with the adorable Hard Candy Christmas stamp set and Designer Dies for Essentials by Ellen.

This one is using the wrapped candy and is masked over and over and to create dimension.  I  colored them with Copic markers.

This one is a fun display of old fashioned candy running down the side of the card.  Some are flat to the card, some are popped up on foam squares.
I made a shaker card from this one. The dies set comes with a piece to cut out the front of the jar.  I filled it with clear beads and die cut candies colored with Copic markers.

All the ribbon candy colors I could remember my grandma having in her jars!
Each of these cards have embossed sentiments in white on black cardstock.  The black is stamped with Memento ink directly on the card.
