Be Bold Love You & Merry Christmas

Looking for a big bold statement on your Christmas cards?  Here you go!
This is a full size slimline card and the die takes up every bit of that space.

I cut strips of cardstock and adhered them to a piece of white cardstock before running it through the die cutting machine.  Then I mounted it on a white card that I covered with white snowflakes to create a bit of texture for the background....and then I wonder why it is so hard to photograph, 😻
Merry is cut in black cardstock and mounted on foam squares.

I had about a 1" piece of stripe left over, so I die cut the Merry and made a tag.  I used the new Heart to Heart Tag Set.

There is also a new Be Bold Color Block Love You die set.  This one is regular A2 size.

I cut this one in patterned paper and adhered them to the card base with foam squares.  The You is cut in black cardstock and adhered with foam squares.  I added a few bits of foliage from Simply Perfect Layered Blooms.

Friday Feature For Concord & 9th

Welcome back to Friday Feature!
This week were showing ways to use the 2022 Calendar Bundle
Be sure to check out Lindsey Larsen (occasionalcrafting) and Suzanna Hansen (madeinmojave), my fellow Feature Friday friends.

I decided to spiral bind my calendar pages.  I have a Rubicoil machine, but you can have it done at Staples or other office supply stores.  I used the Floral Frame Bundle because I can't get enough of it!
Every October, Concord & 9th comes out with a blank calendar and a coordinating stamp set.
This year's stamp set is called Monthly Mix
These make the best gifts for teachers, neighbors, family, etc.

I stamped on each page.  I lined up the greenery stamp in my MISTI and did them all one after another.  I then added a few flowers in different colors.  These are Sorbet, Grapefruit and Stardust with a little Sea Glass and Evergreen.

I cut the 2022 from the cover and framed it with the die in the bundle.

I created a couple of pockets and inserted a tag, one on the inside cover and one on the inside of the back cover.  I made a dangler charm thing with extra flowers and punched a hole in it to hang with a ball key chain from the binding coil.

What do you think?  Will you make some for gifts this year?  They are pretty easy and fun!

Idaho Custom Creations November Tiered Tray Kit & New Signs

You better grab a cup of coffee because there are a LOT of pictures to look at in this post.

It's Christmastime at Idaho Custom Creations and I been painting up a storm!  I love that the November Tiered Tray kit is very traditional and the pieces can be used for regular decor as well as for tiered trays...but if you don't have a tiered tray, you need one. 😍

My tray is from Felt Creative Home Goods and can be purchased HERE
I have this brown one and a white one.

As a reminder, the kit comes unfinished and with everything you need to complete it, including paint.  It is a monthly subscription through Idaho Custom Creations.  Michelle owns the company, I just paint for her and enjoy all her products!
She offers the subscription kit as well as regular products for sale in her shop, and she takes custom orders. There is literally nothing the woman can't do!

A couple close ups of the this months pieces.

Everyone loves a FREEBIE and if you subscribe to
the kit, you get one every single month!
This time is an ornament and it's so pretty!  It comes with the bead and twine too.

New Interchangeable Sign Inserts
Three of them this month.
These are not part of the subscription, just products for sale in the store.

The inserts are sized to fit Idaho Custom Creations Interchangeable Sign.
If you want to get started, you will need the Starter Kit that includes the sign and ribbon.

The November inserts are super cute!  I used a stamping stencil with paint for the polka dots.

Two New Holiday Signs
These are not part of the subscription, just products for sale in the store.

This sign would be perfect for the door.  It comes unfinished, is approx 9-1/2" x 11" and has two holes for hanging.

Home For The Holidays
This sign comes unfinished, is about 11" and has two holes for hanging.
This one is my favorite, it would be cute in or on a wreath.

Well, I told you, lots of photos!  I love Christmas and it made me so happy painting all these pieces.
I have two fun and whimsical Christmas trays to show you next month, I'm so excited!

Holiday Springs Card & Gift Box

I have a card and matching gift box made with the Holiday Sprigs Stamps & Dies that released last week at Ellen Hutson.

I love this little Two In One Box Die!

Designed with a "cut two, flip one" approach to assembly, the Two-in-One Box Die Set creates a box that's either "portrait" or "landscape", by simply changing which tabs you choose to adhere. The die perfectly fits 6x6 patterned paper; or die cut from white and decorate with stamps. This adorable box is perfect for sweet treats or a small gift. Additional design elements have been included for decorating, like stitched panels (and a cute tag). Not just for layering, the small panel dies can be used to wrap small candies too!
I added foliage from the Holiday Sprigs Stamps & Dies along a strip of black cardstock.

For the card, I started with the tag from the Tag Trio Die Set.  I adhered die cut snowflake from the Snowflake Dies to the tag for texture since the whole thing is white.
I then built the wreath from cut pieces of Holiday Sprigs Stamps & Dies.

Head over to Ellen Hutson to see this release plus all the other brands she carries in her one stop shop!
