Valentine Frappe Money Cards

These were so fun to make!  The boys are going to love these - they love Frappuccinos.  I used the Honey Bee Stamps Frappe Shake Card Dies and the Monster Love Bundle from Concord & 9th to create these cards. 

I created a little pocket for the money.

Frappe Shake Card Honey Cut Dies

I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in

Ground Espresso, Gathered Twigs and Tumbled Glass and blended them with sponge daubers from FSJ.

Not going to lie, that ink blending is hard and takes a lot of practice but I'll keep at it.  These bloggers and videos make it look seamless and there is definitely a learning curve...they've just learned it already! :)

Once I had the ink in place, I spritzed it with a water bottle and then blotted it with a paper towel.

 I cut a dome lid from Clear View Sheets and covered the whipped topping and straw.

The Monster is colored with Copic Markers, the heart is embossed with white embossing powder and layered on a heart from the Heart Felt Die Set from FSJ.  I used the Heart Felt Piercing Dies to create the stitches on the heart die.

Valentine Shaker Tags

I made a couple of Valentine Shaker tags for some special candy gifts using Honey Bee Stamps Globe & Ornament Shaker Tags and the Bear Hugs Bundle from The Stamp Market.  These ornaments dies are definitely not just for Christmas!

I used  Fun Foam to create the layer in between for the shaker space - slick and easy way to do it!  If you need it higher, just glue two fun foams together.

More donut cards today using the Donuts Bundle by The Stamp Market, this time on Oatmeal Cookie cardstock instead of white.

Have I mentioned that I love these little donuts?

This card has a piece of vellum across it with the donuts on top.  The sentiments are embossed with white embossing powder on black cardstock.

This one uses the donuts to create an embossed looking background.  What hung over the edge, got cut off.

Spring to Go Hello Cards

 I am participating in the 30 days marker color challenge on Instagram, so I might be doing a lot of coloring this month!  It's fun though, I'm reuniting with my Copic Markers and trying to remember all the ways I used to use them.

This coffee cup is from The Unity Company and is called Spring to Go.  I paired it with the Concord & 9th Plaid background and Honey Bee Stamps Hello for a very simple but pretty card in Tin Pail cardstock from FSJ

I added some sparkle on the hello with the Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen. Or, available from Amazon here.

Blossom Party Cards

Happy February Stamping Friends!

There is such a fun variety of floral images in this Blossom Party set.  I love when the flowers don't exactly line up and you can use them however you want.  (Well maybe they do line up and I'm not that good; I probably shouldn't say they don't. *Ü*). 

I also love the freedom of stamping right on the card or die cutting them to use on the card for a little dimension.

I incorporated the Hello Serif Dies on this card - this layered hello is becoming one of my favorites!  I've used inks from Altenew and FSJ, (listed below) on Whip Cream cardstock.

Blossom Party Stamp Bundle

For this card, I stamped on the new Jumbo Tag Die.  I've said it before - I love that it is almost card size and I didn't have to fussy cut it myself.  It had a super cute reinforcer that goes around the hole at the top plus lots of word choices.  I chose Hey Friend for this one and added cardstock behind it for added color.  The scallop is from FSJ borders, Border Basics Dies. I've used inks from Altenew as well as Lavender Fusion and Pretty Amethyst from FSJ.
