Concord & 9th October Release

It's time for the Concord & 9th October Release and my oh my do I ever love this one!

I had time to play with a couple of the new items, but be sure to head over to Concord & 9th to see the entire release because it's a good one!

This is the All The Merrys Bundle.  

I love Christmas word sets, big words, word sets with lots of fonts and this one fits the bill for me.  

I used them all for my background stamped in Cranberry, Parsley and Sorbet.  The tree is stamped in Parsley.

The tag die and die cut words are so nice - I really, REALLY love this set!

Fall Decor and a Tiered Tray Reset

I finally got some of my fall decor up and this year I decided to forgo Halloween and just stick to fall.  I've never done that before, but this year has been different for a lot of things!

I decorated my antique typewriter with pumpkins from Joann's and Target.  I added sprigs of eucalyptus and my farmhouse beads to the vinette and kept it pretty simple.

 

My tiered tray has been reset in pumpkins and fall items. 

Top tray has 2 white bottle brush trees from Hobby Lobby, The pumpkin is from Details 2 Enjoy and the gnomes are from Real Deals.

Bottom tray has the gnome from Real Deals.  The white ceramic berry basket is a Rae Dunn piece from TJ Maxx Home Goods, flowers from Michaels, letterboard can be found HERE. Pumpkins are from Target Dollar Spot.

The jar is fully of hand made acorns.  I ordered the acorn caps  from Etsy and glues them to wool felt pom poms.

The marshmallow guy is wearing a hand knitted hat from VinVan Knits and is so cute!

I've had this bucket and ladder in my garage for a year now and finally decided to decorate with it.  I can't wait to add the pumpkins and maybe a hay bale beside it.The sign on the ladder is from Hobby Lobby and the bucket and ladder are from Craft Warehouse.

Sunday Drive with A Skeleton and Witch

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw a sneak peek of these cards last weekend.  These were so much fun to create.  

When you do something like this that requires a thousand mini pieces, just plan a couple of hours and cut a whole bunch to assemble them all at once.  I made several and today I have four cards to show you.

All cards are made with the Shapabilities Sunday Drive Etched Dies and the Die-Lites Halloween Sunday Drive Dies. 

There is a lot going on in these cards, so I will put underneath each one the materials I used.

The background in Distress Oxide Ink in Broken China, Cracked Pistachio and Ripe Persimmon.  Spritz with water and pat dry.

Nuts About You Card

Hello Stampers!

Today's card uses these adorable squirrels from Honey Bee Stamps Nuts About You Stamp Set and Dies.  I had so much fun with this set during sneak peek week, I had to pull it out again.  We have tons squirrels in our yard and trees, I can see all their little personalities and Honey Bee Stamps captured these little guys perfectly.

I stamped the background using the Farmhouse Check Background Stamp.  I stamped all the squirrels, pumpkins, leaves and acorns and colored them in with Copic markers before cutting them with the coordinating dies. 

The scallop edge piece is from the Scallop A2 Card Frames, I love this set!I did a very light ink blending background in Tumbled Glass and Bundled Sage.

Kraft It Simply Halloween Treats Day 5

Welcome to Day 5, our final day of Got Treats?!

This is a 5 day blog hop between Inking Idaho and Sue, from This Pink Rooster, showcasing her new line of Kraft It Simply die cuts!

How Did She Do That?

1. Stamp the Witch and Frankie on the french fry box for placement.
2. Emboss the front of the French Fry Box.  Fold the flaps back (or in) so they don't get caught.  You will still get some embossing on the sides.  I'm so sorry that this folder seems to be sold out, use a polka dot or any other folder.
3. Stamp the Witch and Frankie on Copic friendly cardstock and color.  Hand cut out. (I know, but it's worth it!)
4. Adhere to the French Fry boxes with Foam Tape.
5. Color in the extra bubbles with a White Gel Pen.
6. I colored Copic friendly cardstock with Copic Markers in Green.  Let it dry - really dry.  Stamp the sentiment on it with Black ink.  Layer on Black Licorice cardstock and use for tags.
7. Add candies.

Kraft It Simply Halloween Treats Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of Got Treats?!

How Did She Do That?

1. Cut the tag die in your favorite white cardstock.  I cut the tag reinforcer in Kraft cardstock. Black would look good also.
2. Stamp the sentiment on Black Licorice cardstock in Versamark Ink and emboss with White Embossing Powder. Hand cut the sentiment and adhere to the tag.
3. Cut 1/4" Citrus Cooler Cardstock and 1/2" of your favorite black and white patterned paper and adhere to the bottom of the tag.
4. Stamp the hat on Copic Friendly cardstock and color with Copic Markers.  Die Cut.  Adhere hat to the tag with Foam Tape.
5. Die cut a spider and a web in Black Licorice cardstock.  Adhere the web to the back of the tag as shown and the spider to the front.  I used a white gel pen to make spider eyes.
6. Lace the orange ribbon through the hole.  Tie the ribbon ends together with the Black Gingham Ribbon.
7. Adhere tag to the Bottle Tag.
8. Slip the tag over a bottle.
