Artful Tulip Cards

Have you seen this new Paint Your World Collection from Spellbinders?  It's a big collection full of all things painting and art.  I've been having so much fun creating with it!

I mainly used the Artful Tulip Die set but I wanted to have two different paintbrush handles, so I used the handle that is in the Butterfly Burst Die set, another in this collection.

I cut the flowers and leaves from Copic friendly cardstock and colored them completely with Copic markers.

The background is stenciled with the Bubble Bubble Stencil which apparently is now discontinued. 😡

I tied the paintbrushes together with twine before adhering them to the card.

Happy Birthday Cake Shaped Card

I love this card shaped like a slice of cake.

There are so many ways to decorate it and it's just a fun card to send...and receive!

The die set comes with the candles and flame, frosting or whip cream and sprinkles.  The companion stamp set has those same things as stamps as well as different patterns for cake layers and this sentiment used here.

I stamped the cake layer patterns in Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. The sentiment is embossed with black embossing powder.

The flowers and leaves are from the die set Whimsical Spring Flowers Dies.

New Products From Reverse Confetti & A Blog Hop

There are a bunch of new products releasing today from Reverse Confetti. I have a few here, but as always, please check the website for the entire release.

Below is the list of designers participating in the blog hop.  If you are looking for creative inspiration, be sure to hop along with us.

This beautiful new set has a bouquet of roses and leaves with dies to cut it out AND the beautiful stitched frame.  I've used the frame for a shaped card. I really love this one and will be using it over and over.

I did a little ink blending on the background before sprinkling it with water. the roses are colored with Copic markers and lightly splattered with watered down white paint.

The dots are my own and not included in this set.

Roses Stamp Set and Dies

I've used the here for the Roses Stamp Set background and for the sentiment.

There is a new Layered Friend die that is a great size and on the inside of the card is a new gift card holder called Circle Gift Card Holder.

Be sure to head to the Reverse Confetti website after the blog hop to see the entire release.

Thank You So Very Much

Some of my favorite products from The Greetery are in this card.

I love daisy stamps and I seriously love eucalyptus stamps.  Put them in a good farmhouse pitcher and add a most awesome sentiment set!

If I put this much time into a card, it has to go to someone who appreciates it! Am I right? 😂

Gift Bags With Create A Flutter & Flower Dies

This is a cute twist on the basic bow.

You can add a butterfly or a flower to the center with the new Create a Flutter & Flower Etched Dies.  I've also used the new Gift Bag Etched Dies to create two styles of gift bag.

The one on the right with the handle is the what the die makes.  If you want to add a lid instead of a handle here are my measurements.

Cardstock 5-1/4" x 3-7/8"

Score all four sides at 1".

The bag before handles measures about 1-3/4" x 3-1/4" x 4-1/4".

You can also make this bag skinnier and taller by folding on the first score line instead of the intended, second score line.

Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for May

It is a new month so it is time for a new Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders!

This month is is a stitching die that is quite fun.  I actually looked up a You Tube video and stitched this one instead of my faux Sharpie marker stitching.

The die set is called Stitched For You and contains 42 cutting dies!  Yes, 42!

All the words are alphabets so you can actually make more words than shown here.

The background of my card is stenciled, but it looks like that stencil has been discontinued.

The flowers are from the Be Bold Blooms die set.

Head on over to Spellbinders and check out the other monthly club dies as well as the New section and the ever growing Clearance Rack, they are always adding new items!
