Crazy busy week as I prepare graduation favors for a party on Saturday and teacher gifts for next week. My Mother in Law is here this week cooking up a storm in the kitchen and I feel all off schedule...grrrrr! This is one of those times I wish I had made a few things ahead of time...it's not like I didn't know the end of the school year was coming!! But at least my freezer will be full of yummy Greek food from YiaYia ☺
Hershey Nugget graduation candies. I used the 1 3/8" Square Punch, Silver Brads and got the instructions for the tassle on You Tube.
Super easy and such a WOW!! You'll need the Pillow Box die cut and the Big Shot and a 5x7 photograph. It's so easy and comes out perfect. I manipulated my photo to add the graduation information on the back side and had them printed. The only bad thing is you need a 5x7 as a 4x6 is too small, and it's a little more expensive. I can't wait to take them to the party!!
Ooooh! How fun! I'll need to try those nugget grad caps as my little man is "graduating" from Kindergarten at the end of June.
ReplyDeleteHey! Where's that tutorial???
ow cute!! what super fun favors...everyone will love them! :)
ReplyDeleteOH wow!! These are great ideas!!! I love both of them!! I would love to see that tutorial for the nuggets, too!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable idea!!! I'll have to try it for my daughter's kindergarden "graduation". TFS!!
ReplyDeleteThe nuggets are so cute! I love this idea! I'm going to run home and make about 60 for both my boys for the last day of Preschool on Friday. Thanks for sharing a WONDERFUL idea!

I absolutely love the pillow boxes with the picture!
ReplyDeleteI'm making graduation cap nuggets for my niece's party. To make it easier though, I am using ribbon for the tassle.
The graduation cap nuggets are soooo cute. My 14 y/o is graduating from 8th grade on June 11 and I'm making these whether they embarass him or not (seems everything I do embarasses him these days -- he's such a man now LOL)! I've already been instructed not to bring balloons to the promotion ceremony but I will sneak some of these in to share with some of my other mom friends.
ReplyDeleteWow on both projects. The nuggets are great. The favor boxes are AMAZING! I love items like this personalized with photos...more meaningful. That graduate is very lucky.
ReplyDeleteWow this is such a great idea for the box die. Now I will have to get one of those too. Thanks for always giving such great ideas.
