Mini Milk Carton Container

The mini..... and mine!
Stampin' Up! has a new die-cut in the Occasions Mini catalog and it happens to be a milk carton! I've been making these for over a year and as you know I have a tutorial for sale on my Milk Carton Container.
I've received a lot of e-mail asking for size comparison and my thoughts on the new product. Well...as for the size, mine is 4-3/4" x 4-1/4" x 6" and the mini is 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" x 4-3/4".
As for my thoughts...well, I think I will make these into kits and sell them! I have been thinking of offering a kit at some point and I think the time is now! What do you think??
This photo is for comparison in size only and WILL NOT be the one I offer as a kit.
You can look for more details and photos on the new Mini Milk Carton Kit to come in the next few days. Ü

  1. I bought your original milk carton container tutorial. I am going to make some this weekend for an upcoming craft show. I actually just ordered the Big Shot Die and looking forward to adjusting your tutorial to make a holder for the smaller version.

Thank you so much for sharing your talent and terrific ideas!!!

  5. I ordered your original milk carton tutorial and loved it! I especially liked what you did with the closure on the bottom. I also have the SU mini milk carton. I wanted to be able to close it on the bottom as well so I use the slit punch on one bottom panel and the horizontal slot punch (punched twice) on the opposite panel. When put together, the bottom can be opened and closed without destroying the carton. You were/are my inspiration.

  9. Hi Becky - coming to you from the Raleigh North Carolina area... I absolutely LOVE checking your blog every day. I even joined Dawn's 'with Love' session this time!

I bought your milk carton pattern and made them for the kids' teachers for holiday gifts... they are beautiful, but it wasn't until probably the 5th or 6th one that I was able to really click thru them. I think you selling the kits would be absolutely fabulous!!! If someone wants to buy the kit as a quick project, what a convenience! Plus, I noticed that the SU kit doesn't have rounded corners on the handle... your projects are always so professional!!!!

Thanks for everything you do - all across this great country!

  10. Becky, The mini milk carton kit is a wonderful one. I have to tell you a funny story. The first time i ever came to your site it was because someone had told me about the milk carton tutorial. I bookmarked it. Ever since when I click your bookmark it comes to that 2008 page. I then just go to the new page. What a techno looser i know. Anyway today as I went through the usual drill I thought wouldn't it be kool if there was a tutorial for the mini milk carton. When I came to the current page there it was (almost). My wish was granted
