New Summer Mini Is Here!

Thank you to every single one of you who stopped by during the Royal Blog Tour. Thank you for taking the time to send e-mails and for leaving wonderful comments! I am glad that you are as excited as I am that my new Cardstock Cabinet tutorial will be available this Thursday! Ü

First, I would like to thank Sherrill Graff, Lucia Kaiser, Heather Wright Porto (Blogs by Heather), Marisol Gutierrez, Janice Rosenthal Rock and Kelly Mayou for their wonderful help and communication leading up to the tour. This is a very organized and tightly run blog tour; well done ladies! It was a pleasure to be asked to join.

Prior to the tour Janice and Kelly conduct interviews with the Honorary Queens. It's so strange to read about yourself in print! This is what they said about me on the Royal Blog Tour blog:

Featured Royal Blog Tour Honorary Queen: Becky Roberts

Can you believe the talented and ever-creative Becky Roberts “could not have been more disinterested” in Stampin’ Up! at the first workshop she attended? Well, her disinterest did not last long. About a year after her first workshop, she attended a second one with the same demonstrator. This time, they made bookmarks with glossy paper, two-step stamping, a corner rounder and ribbon. Ah, the ribbon. To this day, ribbon is Becky’s #1 go-to Stampin’ Up! product. She uses it so much that she is “not sure [she] can make a card or project without it!” She also can’t live without Stampin’ Success, the Stampin’ Up! magazine sent to demonstrators each month. After joining Stampin’ Up! and not doing much with it in the first three months, Becky was ready to drop her demonstratorship. However, with an extension granted to demonstrators following September 11, 2001, she took a little more time to think about losing that great magazine. She soon had her first $1000 workshop and never looked back!

Becky has many stories to share from her years of holding workshops. One of her scariest could have left a real “Basic Black” mark on her business . . . She was demonstrating the new Stampin’ Up! ink pad design several years ago, when “the lid shot off and the pad scooted across the hostess’ brand new hardwood floor!” Did you know that “Lysol takes black ink off hardwood floors”? It also helps when 13 ladies set to work on the same ink spots.

Although Becky initially “could never imagine [herself]” stamping, she is now inspired by everything, everywhere. She rarely loses her mojo; but, says that “there is nothing like a trip to a fine stationary store to perk me up!”

Becky believes that “positivity is one of the most powerful weapons (or secrets) one can possess in life and in teaching others to explore their creativity. So, don’t fret over making a mistake with your paper crafting. “It’s not gold…recycle it and start over!”
Thank you again ladies for all your hard work in making The Royal Blog Tour a success!

Finally... the NEW Summer Mini Catalog! Take a look at it HERE.

Everything you would ever want or need for summer stamping and remember, a bunch of stuff from the Occasions Mini is being carried over to this catalog too.

Place your order HERE!

Here is another Cardstock Cabinet, this one done in Rich Razzleberry with Always Artichoke, Whisper White and Chocolate Chip faux drawers. It holds a lot of stuff!!

In the new Summer Mini Catalog we have these cute little buttons I used to make drawer pulls with.

NEW Itty Bitty Bits stamp set (117056 wood $11.95) (120060 clear mount $8.95)

NEW Bitty Buttons (118761 $4.95)

NEW Punch Pack-Itty Bitty Shapes (118309 $16.95 for 3 punches)

It's so easy! Stamp the image, punch it out and mount it behind the button. Three shaped punches and 3 shaped buttons all coordinate fabulously!

Thank you Denise at Denise's Design Creations for this Sunshine award.

Thank you to Kirsty at Kirsty's Cards n' Scrapping for the Sunshine Award.

  1. Wow Becky. I'm so glad you hung in there with Stampin Up. I always look forward to your wonderful creations. The stampin world would definetly be at a loss right now, had you stepped down after those first 3 months.
Thanks for always sharing your talent with us.
