Butterfly Post It Notes

I just LOVE my Big Shot! It does the greatest things! Well, I helped it a little bit, but it saves SO much time. I made all these Post It Notes in about 2 hours. Can you imagine if we still had to hand cut all these things?

Separate a 3x3 Post It Note pad into 4 sections. Lay them one at a time onto the butterfly die-cut and roll them through.

Cut the coordinating colors of cardstock and Vellum cardstock with the die-cut. Some of the layers of butterflies I put through the embossing folder also. Stack them up, add rhinestones to the center and assemble with a small binder ring. Viola! Cute little convention gifts in only 2 hours! *Ü*

Don't forget - you can sign up to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for just $99 this month. See all the details

  20. Becky, I completely fell in love with these when I saw them, they're fabulous! Thanks so much for sharing.

I made my first one this afternoon and can see I'll be making many more!

I too had the problem of losing a bit of the wing if I used a 3" x 3" pad. I used a 5" x 3" pad and cut a tad over 1 1/2" off the side and so now I have some mini Post It note pads to work with too!

  23. Hi everyone, thank you for leaving great comments! I've heard from a few of you that you have had trouble getting your die-cut to fit on the Post-It notes. I did also. I found that the Post It brand didn't fit but the generic Post It notes from Staples did fit. I used them all anyway and scooted the die-dut over a bit so that if the tip of the wing did get cut off, it was under the binger ring and you couldn't see it. :)
