Straight from Stampin' Success

This card was featured in this months issue of Stampin' Success, a magazine Stampin' Up! demonstrators receive each month. I love the colors!!

I changed it up slightly by adding the new punch to the center of the die-cut and changed the saying from birthday to everyday. I really like the way this turned out. Next time, I think I will stamp the background words in Early Espresso instead of Soft Suede. The Soft Suede makes it look a little blurry.

Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Early Espresso

Stamp Set: Smarty Pants, En Francais

Accessories: Blossom Party die-cut, Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Flower from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Jewels

Kangaroo Thanks & a New Kit Coming Soon!

My little Nicholas made a haul with all his get well soon cards for his broken hand. He's doing great now and thankfully did not have to have surgery. He had several thank you notes to write (even tho he was wishing he had broke his right hand so I would do it for him) to some special friends. He chose the kangaroo set, which I love!
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, Marina Mist, Soft Suede, Whisper White
Stamp Set: Build-a-Roo

Accessories: Watercolor Crayons and Blender Pens (although they turned out very light in this photo), Floral Fusion die-cut and the Big Shot, baby!, Marina Mist Satin Ribbon, Jewels

Lots of little pocket card thank yous for May orders. These are so quick and easy to make with the Scallop Squares Duo die-cut.

Use the largest of the two scallop squares on the die-cut.

The pocket is 3 x 3-1/2". Score at 1/2" on three sides, then run through the Elegant Bouquet Embossing folder.

Punch 1/2 of a 1" circle for the opening.

I think it's called a box in a bag anyway. You start with a box and wrap Designer Series Paper around it. Once you add handles you have a bag!

This one is little. The box is 4-1/2" x 3" and scored on all 4 sides at 1/2". The Designer Series Paper is 11 or 11 1/2" x 4". The note cards are 3" x 3".

Stamp Set: Pun Fun

Accessories: Beyond The Garden Designer Series Paper, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Floral Fusion die-cut and the Big Shot, baby!, Scalloped Edge Punch, Jumbo Eyelets, Crop-a-dile, Melon Mambo & Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Markers

Inking Idaho Nuggets

I forgot to show you the little favors I took my friends in Moscow last weekend. I thought since they found me through my blog, that this would be a fun treat!

I printed my blog stuff on an address label, wrapped them around a Hershey Nugget and made a little tray for them. They are packaged in the same Wilton Pretzel Bags I've used before, only I cut them down so they were short.

May Stamp Clubs

This month we are using the clear stamp cases to make stationery sets. I love the new punches and really loved the idea in the Summer Mini Catalog, so that is where I picked up the colors from.

Newsprint Designer Series Paper too.
I took the notepads to Staples and had them cut 1" off the bottom so they would fit in the case. It cost me $6 for 24 notepads to be cut...not too bad!
