Yep, this is how I feel.  Our son Benjamin was accepted to UC Berkeley and we are so proud of him.  We move him in and set him up this weekend...and leave without him.

  2. Becky I have sent my 4 kids out into the world and it was so hard for me each time!! Knowing that things will never be the same again was a hard one to swallow and lots of tears were shed - happy and excited for my kids but sadness for me cause I missed each one so much. But life goes on and you get use to the new way of family life - then down the road - grandkids come and life is so fun! It has been fun to watch your boys grow over the years and will look forward to hearing about them in the future. Much love to you Becky. You share so much with us on your blog!
