Fall Fest Treats

These were so fun to make.....because they were in my first holiday care package to our college student and his roommates!  How fun!

Yes, they may be 18 years old but who doesn't love to get a little treat?  They aren't that old! *Ü*

Cardstock:  Whisper White
Stamp Set:  Fall Fest, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Accessories:  Two Tone Old Olive Baker's Twine, 1/8" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Note Tag Punch, Fall Fun Framelits, Big Shot
The cauldrons were 6 in a package in the $1 bin at Target.

What a fun box to put together for them.  Anyone have any good ideas for fun care package boxes for college students?

A couple of weekends ago we headed back to UC Berkeley for Parents Weekend.  It was so good to see Benjamin again, man we miss that kid!  He is doing great, loves it there, is rocking it academically and having a great time!  His roommates are awesome kids and we could not be happier for him....except he's there and we are here.  But you can see, I'm almost over it!  Ha!

It was busy and crazy and fun there with 30,000 other parents!  And the best part is he will be home in a few weeks for Thanksgiving!!! Whoop!

  1. My son went to UCB, too - GO BEARS!...and you will score BIG TIME with your son and his roommates if you send a care box that contains a bag or two of Trader Joe's Yogurt Stars (shown on the page here: http://www.thethinkingblonde.com/2012/10/trader-joes-its-like-toy-store-but-for.html). These cookies are like a little taste of pure Heaven and are perfect for Halloween or Christmas gift giving =) I'm giving them to my neighbors in mason jars for Christmas this year with a stamped tag attached.
