End of Year Teacher Gifts

The end of the school year has come and gone and now my baby boy is officially a Sr. in high school.  I wish I could say I was happy about that, but I'm not really.  For 20 years this has been my job and although I know it's not over, it's going to be very different.  I will be cherishing this last year at home. I know there are a lot of moms out there that know exactly what I mean. *Ü*

I used a few of the cards I posted last week for the gifts.  We added some candy and a gift card for 5 of his favorites.  Nicholas has an extraordinary year and those teachers made a huge impact on his life.  He wrote them very heartfelt messages in the cards and I actually had a tear as I read a couple of them.  If I were a teacher, that is exactly what I would want to hear from a student.  He will remember them forever.

They are packaged in clear card boxes and the ribbon on top is tied just around the flap for easy opening.

  1. What a thoughtful thing to do Becky! And you sure have raised a delightful young man, I know those teachers really appreciated his heartfelt thoughts and words.

  2. As a retired teacher, this melts my heart. And I have to confess, I cried the last half of my son's senior year of high school! : )
