Piece of Cake by Honey Bee Stamps

Happy March Stampers!
Today is all about cake and cupcakes!
I think I could probably survive on cake just fine, it is one of my major weaknesses. Thankfully, I also love to stamp and color all things cake and desserts which is a much better alternative for me. *Ü*

I've been working on my Copic coloring more and more, gearing up for the #thedailymarker30day challenge on Instagram.  Be sure to follow me over there as I will be posing daily the whole month of March.

Of course I love the pink one best.  I would stamp and color everything in pinks, reds and blush if I could.  But I do need to branch out and use the plethora of other colors I own.
The backgrounds are ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks and Life Changing Blender Brushes.

The purple background starts at the bottom with Seedless Preserves and then Shaded Lilac.
The pink background starts with Aged Mahogany and then Tattered Rose.  Both were spritzed with water before they dried.

A Piece of Cake Honey Cuts (dies) and Stamp Set

The Scallop Rectangle dies that these are stamped on are the Scallop A2 Card Frames from Honey Bee Stamps.  It is a nesting set of all sizes and one of my very favorites.

Before you leave be sure to follow me on Instagram please. Lots of behind the scenes goes on over there in my stories too.
