This is a fun little project!
I made a set of to/from tags with the Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Cheer 6 x 6 Paper Pad. I love these papers and the colors and have thoroughly enjoyed using them this season.
These are about 2" tall. I started with an oval and cut it down. There are two ovals for each one and I hinged them together with a little strip of cardstock (see below).
I chose my papers, covered them and lightly sanded the edges. The words are actually a piece of the paper in the pack that I cut apart, so you could choose from any of the phrases or colors.
The holly and berries are from the Country Christmas Wreath Dies.
I used the pink one on this project.
The yarn I used is called Impeccable yarn in Green Lagoon. I bought mine at Michaels.

ReplyDeleteThese are adorable, Becky!! ❄❄❄
ReplyDeleteHow creative! I kept looking for the die and eventually got to this post and saw how you made them! Maybe you can persuade Honey Bee to make a stocking cap stamp and die set for those of us who aren't as creative as you for next year!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea - but instead of taping the 2 pieces, I folded the paper and positioned the die so it didn't cut the very top.
