I picked a couple of stamp sets from the sale to work with.  I don't think I've ever worked with a duck before so this was fun.

The background is colored with Distress Oxide ink before cutting the oval.  The ducks and all the little images are colored with Copic markers.

I used the Lucky Duck Bundle on this one too but added a birthday hat from the Sassy Birthday Bundle.  All images are colored with Copic markers.

Dear Santa With A Technique Tuesday Christmas Collection Sale

I love stamping for Christmas so I was super excited when Technique Tuesday asked if I would help spread the word on their Christmas in July sale.

The Christmas Collection is 20% off until Thursday, July 29th.
Use code HOLIDAY at check out.

I'm using the cute Dear Santa Bundle for my cards. Pretty quick and easy and great for duplicating!
I started with a base of stripes that are 1/2" and 1/8".  I cut an oval in the middle and added Santa mounted on foam tape.

The foliage on both cards is from the Spirit of December stamp set.

I used practically all the sentiments in the set to create this plea with Santa card .😜
I had a strip that I trimmed off from the card above, and used it on this card. I placed Santa on the right with foam tape and then stamped all the words using my MISTI (from Amazon or Scrapbook, com) to line everything up.

Check out the SALE at Technique Tuesday!

Dazzling Dahlias Card - Technique Tuesday Coupon Code

It's been a while since I did a Technique Tuesday post so I'm excited to bring you a pretty dahlia card today.
Technique Tuesday is offering a 20% discount on everything for 5 Days to Celebrate - 5/16 and 5/20 if you use the coupon code HB2U at check out.

The products I used for this card are Dazzling Dahlias stamps and dies and Essential Stitched Labels.

I stamped three dahlias, colored them with Copic markers and die cut them. I used one whole and the other two I trimmed the buds off.  I places one of the dahlias and one set of buds underneath the Essential Stitched Labels piece and the other two on top raised with pieces of foam tape.  The Label is lightly colored with Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Ink.

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and embossed it in white.  I die cut the Enjoy in black cardstock and the backing piece in vellum cardstock and then placed the sentiment underneath of it.

I love a good white on white card, so I backed this on white cardstock.

Be sure to check out Technique Tuesday and use code HB2U at check out for 20% off everything, May 16th through May 20th.

Love Is In The Air

Today, I have a couple of Technique Tuesday projects to show you using stamps and dies from their The Love Collection.

There are some great things in that collection including the Frannie and Floyd Flamingo set I used HERE

This card uses the fun Cascading Hearts Border Die.

I loved this, it cuts the border and hearts and looks so cool!  You could use this on so many things!  It would be beautiful on wedding invitations too.
I cut a few of them so I could have several colors of hearts.
The sentiment is from Love Is In The Air and is embossed in black.

I chose the presents and balloons from Love Is In The Air for this card.  I stamped the hearts for the background.  Images are colored with Copic markers. The balloons and one gift up on foam squares as is the card front panel.

Check out The Love Collection at Technique Tuesday.  Cute stuff over there!

10% off all love-themed stamp and die bundles
No coupon code needed

Technique Tuesday's Christmas in July

It's Christmas in July over at Technique Tuesday!
The entire Christmas Category is 25% off this weekend, Friday 7/24-Sunday 7/26.

For this card I chose the Vintage Christmas set with its very classic, traditional Christmas images.  I colored them in with Copic markers and made a shaker window with an oval opening.

What's Christmas without Christmas tags??
This die set mixes and matches parts so you can create the tag that is perfect for you.
I used both the Vintage Christmas set and the Christmas Sentiments sets on these.
I added black and white twine and jingle bells for a more festive feel to the brown paper packages...I mean tags. *Ü*

Back to the Vintage Christmas set for this last card.  I ink blended Scattered Straw, Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky and Black Soot for the background and then spritz with water.  I colored the images with Copic markers and the sentiment is embossed in black.

Do you like Christmas in July?  I will admit I had a hard time creating when it's nearly 100 degrees outside, but I do love Christmas stamping!
