Abstract Mountain and Abstract Sunset Cards

I have some pretty landscape, silhouette type, cards for you today. They're new cover plate style dies from the Essentials By Ellen line now available at Ellen Hutson

This card uses the Abstract Mountain Die and cuts a beautiful mountain scene.  It's a cover plate die, so you can do this in several cuts with an array of colors, or all in one color.

I've paired it with the new All About You Stamps and Dies
The strips of text are cut with the Nice of You Dies  (not part of this release).  It is one single die that cuts all the words in the All About You stamp set at once.  I love that!

This card uses the new Abstract Sunset Die.
It's a cover plate die as well, so you can cut it multi-color or all in one color.
I've paired it with the new All About You Stamps and Dies
The strips of text are cut with the Nice of You Dies (not part of this release).

If you haven't been to Ellen's shop lately, you'll want to check it out.  Along with her new release there are sooo many new things!

Round Interchangeable Decor Sign

I have a new Round Interchangeable Decor Sign to share with you.  I love the break from making cards and paper projects to paint something fun for my home.

This is a new piece from Idaho Custom Creations.  Not part of the monthly subscription kit, just a regular purchase.
You get the board, ribbon, the stand and the Welcome To Our Home insert in unfinished wood.
Then, there are interchangeable circles being released every month for holidays, seasons or occasions.

I have the Summer duo and the 4th of July duo that have been released so far.

Here is a very quick video to show you how to pop them in and out of the circular frame.

You just poke your finger through the hole in the back and they pop right out.
The hole in the top is for a change of ribbon to match the season or sentiment.

Sweet Summer and a pineapple.  You can put one in your welcome board and one on your tiered tray.

USA and Let Freedom Ring.
One will always be a sentiment and one an image for the interchangeable seasons or occasions.

I love supporting woman owned, local businesses!
Check out her site HERE and get the pricing for this project and see all the other cool things she has.  She has a deal if you buy the board with 4 inserts that saves you $9.00!

Sugar Cookie Hugs Card

This sugar cookie alphabet set is so fun! You can spell out anything to personalize a card and this would be so fun for scrapbook pages or a recipe exchange too!

I've used Sugar Cookie Alphabet Stamps and Dies and the sentiment is from the You Bake Me Happy Stamps.
The cookies are colored with Copic markers.
The frame is the Scallop A2 Card Frames and the patterned paper is from the adorable Funfetti Paper Pack.

Market Basket of Flowers

I have another beautiful bouquet in a basket from The Greetery.  These are my favorite colors of flowers for this set.  The red just pops...probably more in real life than the photo.

I cut the baskets from silver cardstock and the lining in white with.  I lightly ink blended Distress Oxide Ink over it to make it a pink color.
I lightly bent the basket into a rounded shape with my bone folder and placed a foam square right in the middle to keep the shape.

Flower Market Stamps and Dies

The basket is cut from silver mirror paper.  I love this cardstock - it's sooooo shiny!
The plaid embossing folder on the base is called Plaid Company

Spring Coffee on A Jumbo Tag

I have another card I've made with the new Spring Coffee set from Rabbit Hole Designs.
This time I went with lighter colors and used the Jumbo Tag for the focal point and stamped a few pieces of the stamp peeking out from underneath.

It is all colored with Copic markers and I added a peachy-pink organdy ribbon bow from my stash to the tag hole.

This stamp set is only a $10.99, everyone needs this beauty.

Have you been over to The Rabbit Hole Designs? They have a lot of cute things and great accessories in their shop - check out this cool new tape!

Spellbinders Large Die of the Month

Happy June Stamping Friends!

The June Large Die of the Month for Spellbinders is called Colorblock Circles & Stripes.  It has a bunch of parts and makes a LOT of different designs!  Let me show you.

The die set includes 10 cutting dies. A strip that cuts 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" strips of cardstock. A circle frame 's' shaped die that you can use alone or if you put two together, you get the interlocking circles like I have here.  There are individual circle dies, concentric circles, half circles and word shape circles that say Happy Birthday, Thank you and For You.
I've used the For You here and ran a strip of the 1/2" cardstock through it.

My second card used the 1/4" and the 3/4" strips of cardstock and the Happy Birthday circular die.  I backed each die with Vellum cardstock circle.  I stamped some birds from the June Clear Stamp of the Month and embossed them in clear glitter embossing powder.

After playing with this die and seeing all the possibilities, it's a great combo of very useful shapes that I will definitely use again.  This was a fun one!
