Round Interchangeable Decor Sign

I have a new Round Interchangeable Decor Sign to share with you.  I love the break from making cards and paper projects to paint something fun for my home.

This is a new piece from Idaho Custom Creations.  Not part of the monthly subscription kit, just a regular purchase.
You get the board, ribbon, the stand and the Welcome To Our Home insert in unfinished wood.
Then, there are interchangeable circles being released every month for holidays, seasons or occasions.

I have the Summer duo and the 4th of July duo that have been released so far.

Here is a very quick video to show you how to pop them in and out of the circular frame.

You just poke your finger through the hole in the back and they pop right out.
The hole in the top is for a change of ribbon to match the season or sentiment.

Sweet Summer and a pineapple.  You can put one in your welcome board and one on your tiered tray.

USA and Let Freedom Ring.
One will always be a sentiment and one an image for the interchangeable seasons or occasions.

I love supporting woman owned, local businesses!
Check out her site HERE and get the pricing for this project and see all the other cool things she has.  She has a deal if you buy the board with 4 inserts that saves you $9.00!

Snack Size Candy Boxes and Holiday Home Decor

I am so enjoying the pattern paper pack by Honey Bee Stamps called Holiday Cheer.  I love the colors so much I've used it on almost all my projects this season.
I've made some little treat boxes and added lots of Honey Bee product to them, so let me show you.

I've made these little boxes for years.  They hold snack size candy bars.  I have some with Hershey Chocolate bars in them and some with Kit Kat bars.

The measurements for the box are:
Cardstock 4" x 4-3/4".
Score the 4" side at 1/2" from each end.
Score the 4-1/2" side at 1-1/2", 2", 3-1/2" and 4"

Each box has a 1/2" strip of  Holiday Cheer Patterned Paper Pack wrapped around them as a belly band.  All the decoration is glued to the belly band and not the box.
The greenery is from Lovely Layers Pinecone Dies.  Not only is the greenery beautiful but the layered pine cones in this die set are just gorgeous!
I've colored more chocolates from the Sweet Treats Stamp Set and Dies with Copic markers.  I'm pretty sure I can color chocolate in my sleep now!  Each belly band has 2 chocolates.
Then, I added a gold foil star from the Stacking Stars Dies.  It is the second to the smallest star in the set.
I tied the red and white twine around the band and added a small jingle bell.
That's enough don't you think?  I do love layered embellishments though. *Ü*

Sweet Treats Stamp Set and Dies

I also wanted to share some of our home with you all.

I wish I could change it up each year, but this is the only place in the living room that the tree can go.

I went with bottle tree brushes for my fireplace mantle this year and big white jingle bells.  I have twinkling lights in the greenery and it is so pretty at night.  Most of the bottle brush trees are from Sweet Tea Living here in town.  The bells are from Real Deals and Craft Warehouse..

I changed up my antique typewriter to hold the Merry & Bright message and added a little berry and greenery.  The trees are from Details 2 Enjoy online and the bells are from Real Deals and Craft Warehouse.
The little stocking hats are wooden and are from Melissaannecompany on Etsy/Instagram.

The gnomes in my Pottery Barn chairs above the sliding glass door are from Real Deals.

Now to my favorite thing...my Tiered Tray!
Lots of bits and bobs stuffed in this thing.  The snowman were a gift, Joy is from Real Deals.  White houses are from Target.
My Rae Dunn mug topper is from FauxSweets on Instagram (Mae is an incredible food artist - check her out!)  I've shown several of her creations on my Instagram stories.
The candy things in the greenery are actually ornaments that I took the hooks off of and are from Hobby Lobby.

It all sits on a table in my hallway with my antique scale and a few more gnomes from Real Deals.

Summertime Tier Tray

I've reset my tier tray with a few summery feels.  I pulled out a bunch of things I haven't used in a couple years...like yellow!

The flip flops are wood and covered with patterned paper. The beaded garland was unfinished as well and covered with patterned paper.  It has a sun on one end and watermelon on the other.  They came together in a kit from Paisleys & Polka Dots.
I distressed the flower pot myself and it has a green shrubbery ball thing sitting in it.  The yellow hydrangeas are from Michaels.

On the bottom are a few of my latest Etsy finds.  The truck was unfinished, I bought a large one and a smaller one and finished them myself.  They are from Amanda at artfullycreatedbyac on Etsy and ac_artfullycrafted on Instagram.  I can't remember if I showed them to you before, so I will insert them below.

The red truck is in my tray, it has felt flowers and is the 6" size.

The white truck is the 11" and has paper flowers in the back.  I will be hanging this on the wall.

The white berry basket is a Rae Dunn piece one from Home Goods and is filled with fabric strawberries by EllieBugMakes on Etsy.
The 6" letterboard is one of a set of 3 and they can be purchased HERE.  The tray itself is HERE, Both are from Felt Creative Home Goods.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Tiered Tray for Spring

I showed my recently styled tiered tray on Instagram last week but sharing it here as well for those of you who don't follow me over there.
I love resetting this thing, here is a bit of 'after Easter but not quite the next holiday' look.  Kind of a spring and everyday style.

The tray itself can be found HERE. It comes in a couple of different colors and with a few hardware choices.
Top Shelf
The Home Sweet Home sign is from Timber Farms on Etsy.  Beads are from The Pink Hutch on Etsy.  Pink cup was from Starbucks and the flowers from Michaels.
Bottom Shelf
The 6 x 6 letterboard is perfect for tiered trays.  This is one of a set of 3 and I bought them HERE.
The small bouquet on the letterboard is from Mumlicreates on Etsy.
The Crazy mug is a Rae Dunn mug and probably came from Home Goods.
The candle, candle ring and bowl are from Heritage Reflections here in Boise.
Greenery stuff is from Michaels.
Under the tray is a burlap charger for dinner plates and I think that came from Michaels a long time ago.

If you are not following me on Instagram, come on over.  Lots of fun stuff goes on over there that I don't blog about.

Wooden Ball Paper Flower Wreath

Today I have a home decor piece to show you that was inspired by a blog post on Lolly Jane.
I thought this was so pretty and unique to use the wooden balls and you all know how much I love my paper flowers!

I started with a 16" wood wreath frame similar to this one.  In hindsight, I wish I had made it 14"... I may take this apart at some point. That's how I roll once I get something in my head. *Ü*

I purchased 1" split wood balls and adhered them to the wreath form with E6000 glue. I let it sit overnight.
The box is just to protect the table from my fabulous glue skills.

Then I got started making paper flowers.
Peony die, Daisy die and Layered Blooms die (the dark gray spikey center is from the Daisy die).  The roses are handmade with my own pattern.  Leaves are from the peony die but I did add a few from this leaf die.

I glued them all on with hot glue.

Now, which way to hang it?  With the flowers at the bottom?

Flowers to the left side?

 Flowers to the right side?

Just laying down so Cheeto can sit on it?
Awesome dish towel is from Julie.  It says 'Stove is for Display Only'.

Ultimately I decided flowers to the right but I'm still turning it every time I go out there.  It's pretty in every direction!

What do you think?  Will you make one?
