Team Tuesday

I'm back with another Team Tuesday feature...

 

 

 This week I'd like to introduce you to Dani Dziama from Monroe, MI.  Dani will be celebrating one year as a demonstrator in February, she holds the title of Supervisor with two gals on her team and is a former dried floral artist.   Flowers come naturally to her as we can see with these beautiful floral arrangements.

 

Some of the supplies she used are:

Christmas Projects

These are the projects I demonstrated  at a couple of shows in November and also what my stamp clubs made last month.

 

 

I'm in love with these little slippers!  They are cute on a card, on the ornament shown here or just by themselves!

The Festival of Trees

Another awesome year of tree decorating has come and gone.  This one was rather special because my second level downline  (Penny Smiley's downline) Renee Pontious, and her husband Ned, were the chairs for the event this year.  It was huge and festive as always benefiting St. Alphonsis hospital.

 

 

 This tree was decorated by The Idaho Statesman our local newspaper.  Most of the ornaments were made from paper - imagine that!

 

Really pretty newspaper print papers. So much work!!!

 

This beauty was all about Broadway plays.

I can't remember who sponsored this tree, it was kind of a country, vintagy feel to it.  Honestly,I had no idea you could put that much stuff in a tree! 

 

Picture frames with items hanging from the picture frames - it was gorgeous!!

A very cool and well done Book Tree.

 

 

Besides the trees they had tons of wreaths and other decorated items for bid.  I loved this one!  You can take the girl out of the hospital, but you can't take the hospital out of the girl, right?!  Loved it!!

 

Great job Renee - no wonder you've been so busy!  Now, back to stamping!

A Box For The Snowmen

After I made a bunch of snowman tea lights (directions can be found here), I was trying to decide how to give them. I didn't want the nose to poke through anything, so I made a box!

 

 I added some iridescent shreds to the box to make it a little sparkly.

Too bad you can't leave the battery on when you give them. They might receive a snowman with a dead battery!

You want to know how to make the box?

 

1. Cardstock for the bottom is 5-1/2" x 6-1/2".  Score all 4 sides at 1-3/4".
2. Cardstock for the lid is 4-1/8" x 3-1/8".  Score all 4 sides at 1/2".
3. Punch a hole in the lid and add a piece of Window Sheet behind.  If using the Decorative Label punch as I did here, you will need about 2-3/4" x 1-3/4" size Window Sheet.
4. Designer Series Paper is cut 1-1/2" x 1-3/4" for the 2 short sides and 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" for the 2 long sides.

Finished box size is 2" x 3" x 1-3/4" tall.

Joy's Workshop

These were the fun projects we made last week at my friend Joy's workshop.

 

Bringing back the elf shoes from last year.  If you want to make some, the directions are HERE. 

 

This was the gift I gave her for hosting the show.  I copied the idea from Elizabeth Price, on our Stampin' Connections demonstrator online sharing site. Each Candy Wrapper is filled with a Christmas candy and are held together with a piece of Designer Series Paper.
