I have a fun donut card for you today - I've made a LOT of paper donuts, so stay tuned for several cards and projects! These are little ones, about 1", and are just so cute!
The Stamp Market has a new set called Donuts with coordinating dies as well making the 'hole' thing so easy!
Plain and simple, white on white cardstock letting the donuts speak for themselves.
I cut about 50. I figured I might as well make a bunch and put them aside for future projects. I cut all the donuts in Oatmeal Cookie, Banana Cream and Cocoa Powder cardstocks. The frostings are Whip Cream, Banana Cream, Bubblegum and Cocoa Powder.
I used Copic Markers to do some shading, but you could use colored pencils or any medium that you can blend. I added darker color to the outside edges and inside circle and blended it. It helps with the illusion that it is rounded and adds texture.
Use your bone folder or crease tool to slightly bend the edges of the frosting and then add pieces of foam squares to the center continuing with the rounded illusion.

Once I had them shaded and colored, I used the stamps to stamp the sprinkles and other designs in the frosting. I used white embossing powder on the striped ones.
To continue with the texture, I used glitter, micro beads and shaker card assortments from Honey Bee Stamps to sprinkle on the tops. I laid down a layer of Journey Glaze first for it to stick to. I've listed all the toppings in the graphic below.

These pretty flowers are from a set by Simon Says Stamp called Mandy's Flowers. It is a very pretty floral and sentiment set and I have a couple cards to show you in future postings.
I colored the images in with Copic markers and used the dies to cut them out. I layered them on the scallop border frame called Madison Ave from Mama Elephant.

Monster Love is a new Valentine set from Concord & 9th. It has tons of little pieces and all have matching dies - which we love, right?! This one features two monsters and a whole bunch of parts and sentiments that go with them.
I stamped him in black and colored him with a few Copic markers. I glittered him with Sparkle Cuts chunky glitter to give him lots of monster texture. I used one of the sentiments to create the right side panel of the card and than ran the whole thing through the embossing folder.
I used the Licorice Twist Twine to add the bow on the balloon. I love how this stamp set has the 'lines' used to ground him. I didn't have to draw them in!
For this card, I used the second monster in the set and added Bee Bold Alphabet Dies (currently sold out, but put your name on the 'notify me' for when they come back in stock) and Grass Border from Honey Bee Stamps plus my new FAVORITE (watch out - you will be seeing it a LOT!) scallop border frame called Madison Ave from Mama Elephant (I ordered them from Simon Says Stamp).
If you look closely at the LOVE letters, I covered them in Journey Glaze which is the same as Glossy Accents.
I colored him with Copic Markers and did a little ink blending in the background with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks.

I can't even begin to count how many times I've said to myself, I'll send this person a paper hug. I think that might be something all paper crafters have said from time to time - but NOW, we have a stamp for that!
Today is my second posting using the Hugs & Hellos bundle from The Stamp Market. This is seriously so sweet!
I am also using the new Jumbo Tag Die. I love that is is nearly card size and I didn't have to cut and measure it! This one has all kids of really cute words that come with it. You can use the words themselves or the recessed area - well thought out!
