Pocket Valentine Cards

1/27/11 Edited to add dimensions for the pocket. See below.

I love this little cupcake punch! I actually didn't order it when it was first offered because I didn't think I would use...but I am!

The cards have a little pocket on the front to hold a Ghirardelli Chocolate Square and some shredded paper.

Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Early Espresso, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Stamp Set: Filled With Love
Accessories: Build A Cupcake Punch, Melon Mambo Pom Pom trim, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon

Edited to add dimensions: The cardstock for the pocket is cut to 5-3/4 x 2-3/4. Score both short sides at 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4". Accordian fold. Score across the bottom at 1/4". The folded finished pocket is 4-1/4" x 2-1/2".

  16. Thanks for the pocket measurements. I just tried it and they work wonderfully. I bought some of the tea bags for Valentines I saw in the grocery store. One of each fit in there just fine. Now, to find a little cup stamp in my collection for the "O" maybe! I guess not everyone would start with the pocket and then design the card! Anyway, thanks for sharing the design and all! Hugs!
