Flirtatious Fun Backpack & Flower Cards

I've been using the new Flirtatious Designer Series Paper coming in the new catalog July 1st. I love the pinks in the package and LOVE that it has matching fabric!

I made a backpack that holds regular size (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") cards with envelopes.

I used the Flirtatious fabric with the Fun Flowers die-cut and Big Shot and a little bit of hot pink tulle to make the flowers, then turned them into pins before attaching them to the card.

Now it's a card and a gift and cute packaging!

  6. Great idea for a gift. I have that die but have never used it with fabric. Do you use something to stiffen the fabric before running it throught the BS? I sew and have products like Wonder Under that I was thinking maybe I should use to give the fabric some body.
