Once again I made my mom a gift card book for Christmas. I'm safe, she will never see this! She is the hardest person to buy for - EVER! I made her one last year and this was the first Stampin' Up! thing I've made that she actually kept. I'm sure if you have been reading my blog long enough, you are well aware that I have a SU! non-appreciating mom. *Ü*
Here's this years edition featuring pictures of my family taken by our incredible photographer, Brenda Mallaburn.
If you would like to make a Mini Pocket Book also, the tutorial for this can be found on the right hand sidebar or the tutorials page of this blog.

Hi Becky,
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of your great ideas. We have given my mother-in-law gift cards for many years. We let each of the kids choose a restaurant that they want to "take" her too. And we choose one as well. So throughout the next year she gets one-on-one time with each of the boys (and us) to use her gift card. I usually make different GC holder for each one. And yes I get all of them back from her. Maybe I'll try one book next year and then she'll keep them all in one place for the whole year.
Merry Christmas!

What a fantastic idea for gift cards. It's an added bonus to have them all together! Helps with the "misplacing" issue! Your photographer takes beautiful pictures. What a wonderful keepsake! We all love you and appreciate you sharing your talents with us! Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful project thanks for sharing it!! I believe this would be a great project for my sister and myself to make for our Mother for Mother's Day with our children's pictures in it. You have a beautiful family I hope you all have a bless and safe Chritmas and New Year's.
